Very Dishonest Seller! Complaint, I need help

I agree its a wate of time. I tried to resolve it simply and quickly. I have his stuff boxed up and labeled and ready to go back to him. I tried all day to get him to send me a paypal, and I will mail the box out immediately, end the Paypal grievance, and close this thread, but he won't respond, and has turned it into some kind of game?? Why would you do that? Just refund the damn money, $300, 320, 340, who the hell cares at this point, just end it. Perhaps he spent it already and is stalling.... whatever he is doing, he is one odd person.

I agree. Take the money and run. You should count yourself as lucky that he is willing to refund anything.
If you want to call your cc and complain, you may get made whole, but
I wold think your time and well being is worth far more.

Years ago, I bought a steering wheel from a guy in Germany. Kept promising delivery but I never got anything and waited too long to dispute my Paypal payment. I lost the whole thing .
Had I done my homework and researched a bit I would not have ordered anything from the guy.
Yes, I lost the money. But I later learned that the wheel was avail new from Mercedes Benz Classic for less than the guy who cheated me. I now buy most of my parts from Mercedes Classic and have saved far more than lost in the original unpleasant deal

Well said Mr. Kreiskott!

These kind of threads are so ...unpleasant.

But I agree with the above.

There are people out there who feel the rules of civil society do not apply to them.

I say let them twist in the wind as a reminder to do due diligence.
At least it's a lot cleaner (if not as effective) than putting heads on a pike on London Bridge

I posted a bad experience a few years ago on Pelican and once I did, three other people immediately came forward who'd also been sold blatantly broken or misrepresented parts.

I wish they'd posted something before I got taken!

Fact is, bad sellers count on people "just sucking it up" so they can target the next person. We need to watch out for each other with posts like these.

If you want to sell, you have a responsibility to list and represent correctly. If you get it wrong, full refund and no hassle.

IMO, this is on him. His mistake, not yours. He needs to pay up.

And I don't understand the "let it go" and "sweep it under the rug" mentality. If it is wrong, it's wrong.
