Here's our "new" old dog Cleo.
She's now 6 1/2 years old and has been sitting in rescue all her life with barely any chance of getting adopted as she's afraid of people.
She is a bit different to all our previous Bullterriers - she doesn't know anything and continued her daily program as the last years - sitting for more than 20 hours a day in her cradle.
She is so afraid of people (this includes me too) that she doesn't even eat if you're looking her direction.
Now after 5 weeks we got her at least out of the cradle and on the sofa - that's where a real Bullterrier belongs - and she starts enjoying it - with the disadvantage that now she doesn't want to leave the sofa to go outside or anywhere else.
She doesn't know a collar or leash and is like frozen if she wears one - you may carry her around but she won't move.
So she'll be a tough one to get her into a normal dog's life.

Wonderful story. You and your family are truly Cleo's angels....
Keep us updated on your progress with her, Uli.
Still miss our Ben but thought the pic says it all. We have started to discuss getting another friend but the hole will never be filled ...
Here's our Golden, Indy, who LOVES to paddle board with us

My first Golden was named Indy also. I have never been without two Goldens since then.
