I speculate the seat for my valve spring eventually wore out causing my valve spring to step off. It showed considerable wear on the edges, and there wasny much of a "cup" left to it. let us know what you find out!Quote:

I dont know, I imagine so. I dont think the engine had been apart if I recall. Basically the edges of the valve seat was burred and folder over evenly around the whole edge. I dont remember it being a smooth edge. Its hard to see in this pic, but it has a weird lip to it. I still have it I'll see if I can get a better pic later.Quote:
