1971 911T 40k
Well, here she is. After seven months in the paint shop and taken completely down to her unmolested, original underclothes, my Metallic Blue 71 is back on the road again. Vintage Car Works of Englewood, CO did the fantastic work that you see that has gotten many compliments by people who know a great deal more about good paint and prep than I do. The good news is that after all the old paint was gone, I was left with original panels in mint, no-accident condition, no previous body work and no rust problems according to Dave at Vintage. These guys obviously do excellent paint work but they are also the ones that fought with the new sport seats to get them to work. I still have a few weeks of good driving weather in Colorado to enjoy this 40k mile original gem before the snows start falling in the mountains. Is it possible that new paint makes a car drive better?

Car looks great. You must be pleased to have her back. Mine spent a year on jig / welding / chassis and it was hard everytime the sun shone here (which isnt that often!)
Got to drive by the sea today with kids after school so thought Id add a few pics too

Every time I see a pic of that car I think of how much time, effort, thought and skill went into making it what it is - and we got to watch it all (on the bird)...
Humbling.
And thanks.
