Notes: Somewhat of a "barn find"; person lost interest in restoration.
You’re getting a humdinger of a car. It has had an impressive mechanical restoration. I have a lot of the documentation on the repairs and restorations, but not all. My father kept up with all the information on the car and, as mentioned previously, he recently passed away.
I had some luck today sifting through more of the papers at my mom's house and found the original maintenance record folio, and it shows that the car was delivered to the original owner (the one previous to me) on August 18, 1970. Supplied by Taurus Porsche Audi at 500 West Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, Georgia. The car's window sticker shows it was manufactured in Germany in April of 1970.
What a great color. I bet it buffs out, too (seriously).
