BaT Description:
This 1969 Porsche 911T coupe was built in October 1968 and is finished in Burgundy Red over black. Power is provided by a carbureted 2.0L flat-six, which is mated to a numbers-matching five-speed manual transaxle. A 2016 refurbishment was performed in Southern California and included a repaint in the factory color, refreshing the interior, repairing the floor pans, and rebuilding the suspension. The engine was also overhauled, including new bearings, a valve job, and the addition of hydraulic chain tensioners. The car was sold to an Oregon collector in fall 2017 and returned to California when acquired by the selling dealer in July 2019. Approximately 300 miles have been added since the refurbishment. This 911T is now offered in San Rafael, California with over $40k in receipts, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a pre-purchase inspection, and a clean Oregon title.
The Karmann-built body was refinished in correct Burgundy Red (6808) during the 2016 refurbishment. The seller states that the floors were repaired and the engine decklid was replaced. Decorative chrome trim was either refinished or replaced as needed during the project, and H4 headlamps were installed. The windshield was also replaced and gaskets were renewed throughout. The fiberglass front bumper is bowing in the center, and a new unpainted metal bumper is included in the sale.
15″ Fuchs wheels measure 5.5″ wide and feature polished spokes and black recessed areas. Doral SDA 60A tires are installed at all four corners. Receipts in the gallery show that the braking system was overhauled during the refurbishment with a new master cylinder, new lines, and rebuilt front calipers.
The cabin has been refinished with new black leather on the seats, and black replacement carpets are covered by Porsche-branded floor mats. The door panels were replaced and a new perforated white headliner was fitted along with new sun visors. The interior lights were also replaced, and new door strikers were installed. An AM/FM radio with auxiliary input has been added, and a refurbished Blaukpunkt radio is included. The seller states that the dashboard was recovered and a new ignition switch installed. The pedal cluster was reportedly rebuilt with new brass bushings, and new shifter bushings were also fitted. 56k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, though true mileage is unknown. The selling dealer has driven the car approximately 80 miles over the last three months.
The front hood and rear decklid hinges were powder coated gloss black, and a new hood-release cable is included in the sale. The fuel tank and sending unit were replaced, and a spare Fuchs wheel resides in the trunk. A pre-purchase inspection invoice in the gallery shows that the front hood latch is not working correctly.
The non-matching 2.0-liter M901 flat-six was originally built for a 1969 US-market 911T and was overhauled during the refurbishment according to receipts in the gallery. The bottom end was fitted with new main and rod bearings, the piston rings were replaced, the cylinder heads received a valve job, and the timing system was fitted with new chains, rails, and Carrera-style hydraulic tensioners. The Weber carburetors were also rebuilt and the engine received a new exhaust system. The electrical system includes a Marelli distributor and a rebuilt starter motor and alternator. The engine bay is finished in black. Receipts in the gallery show that oil leaks were found at the right timing cover and cylinder head in 2017, and the seller states that the leaks were repaired.
he Type 901/12 five-speed manual transaxle is stamped 7191436, matching the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. It was reportedly rebuilt and fitted with a new clutch disc, pressure plate, and throwout bearing in 2016. The transaxle was removed again in late 2016 to replace the 5th gear teeth and synchromesh as per receipts in the gallery. The control arms, spring plates, and other components were powder coated gloss black before the suspension was reassembled with new bushings and shocks. Service in 2019 included an oil change and a general inspection of the vehicle.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity displays the matching transaxle number, as well as the factory options and colors. Service records can be viewed in the gallery, including a multi-page receipt from the refurbishment. An invoice from October 2019 included an oil service and a general inspection of the vehicle.

This 1971 Porsche 911T coupe is finished in Silver Metallic over a black leatherette interior and was purchased in 2012 by the current owner. Power is from a 2.2-liter flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle, and maintenance since 2018 included the replacement of the brake master cylinder, timing chain tensioner, battery, gaskets, and more. This 911T is now offered on behalf of the current owner with factory literature, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, service records, and a clean California title. The exterior is finished in Silver Metallic, and the seller states the car has been repainted. The rear of the car features gold 911T and Porsche badging. 15” Fuchs-style wheels wear Goodyear Regatta 2 tires. A replacement brake master cylinder was installed in April 2018.
The interior is trimmed in black leatherette with matching carpets and door panels. Service performed since April 2018 included the installation of a replacement driver’s door handle and clutch cable. The black dashboard houses VDO gauges, climate controls, and a Sanyo cassette radio. The seller states the five-digit odometer has rolled over, and it currently shows 17k miles. The current owner has added approximately 4k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 2.2-liter flat-six is paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Maintenance performed in October 2018 included the installation of a replacement speed sensor, alternator, distributor gasket, chain cover gasket, battery, and valve cover gaskets, along with a rebuild of the carburetors. An engine-out service was reportedly performed in 2013 and included the installation of a replacement rear flywheel seal, a clutch, and a pressure plate.
The front trunk is lined in black carpet and contains a tool kit and a spare tire. Replacement hood shocks were installed in October 2018.

This 1973 Porsche 911T Targa is a roller project that was acquired by the seller in early 2019. The previous owner began a refurbishment process, and modifications include fiberglass bumpers, a fiberglass rear decklid with ducktail spoiler, and a custom-made rear firewall and bulkhead panel. The car is equipped with a removable targa panel and Mahle cookie cutter wheels, and includes side and rear glass. This 911T is offered with spare parts and a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in black and is fitted with a fiberglass rear decklid with ducktail spoiler. A fiberglass front bumper is fitted, and a fiberglass rear bumper is included. A removable targa panel is also included, and the headliner is shown in the gallery.
The removed rear window is shown in the gallery, as are other pieces of uninstalled trim and hardware. The car is equipped with Mahle “cookie cutter” alloy wheels, as well as US market sugar-scoop headlight housings.The cabin has been stripped, and photos are provided showing the floor pans, door posts, latches, and the center tunnel. The rear seat pans and bulkhead have been removed and have been replaced with a custom metal panel. A 5×8′ swatch of material is included for making interior panels.
The car retains factory instrumentation, including a 150-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. 2,800 miles are shown on the mechanical odometer, and the true mileage is unknown.
No engine or transmission are present, and the interior of the engine bay, rear cross member, and shock mounts are shown up close in the gallery. The trunk is shown, and the car is not fitted with a fuel tank. Close up photos are provided of the smuggler’s boxes, and strut towers. The underside of the rear firewall panel is shown, and additional photos of the underside are provided showing the suspension components, steering rack, floors, and more.

The body has been repainted once in the original Signal Yellow (114) color, and the finish exhibits normal wear from age. 1972 was the only year that the 911 featured an external oil filler door, which can be seen on the passenger-side rear fender.
14″ Fuchs wheels were included as part of the optional Comfort Equipment package on this car and also includes Loudspeaker and noise suppression, Tinted glass all around, and much more.
The VDO instrument cluster functions properly. 19,088 miles shown on the odometer, which has rolled at least once.
The original 2.4-liter flat-six is mated to a 915 5-speed manual transaxle features the factory Bosch mechanical fuel injection found on all US models. This system along with a displacement increase resulted in a factory rating of 140 horsepower, nine more than the carbureted RoW examples.
Stamping #6122322 confirms the engine as original. Transmission stamping #325466 confirms the originality of that unit aswell.
