Whatever the car is all about, the first two pictures seem to tell a compelling story... :)

- Looks like the spectators have their umbrellas up because of rain.
- Looks like the crew is changing the 'tarmac' race tires to treaded tires...
- You can see it dry under the car and wet around it...
- You can see the crewman is putting pressure on his left arm starting to undo
the rear lug nuts...

- I would also venture to say the two pictures are reverse in sequence...

Turckheim is a hillclimb, so I suspect this is a rushed wheel change due to a sudden shower, as the cars have to run in order, you can't hang back and wait for the rain to stop :)
