Dealer Description:
- Matching numbers & colours!
- Full history
- Thin body panels
In 1988, this car was imported to the UK from Italy and, like most Carrera Rs’es, ended up in an exceptional collection. The owner was known for always being very meticulous with his cars and this 2.7 RS is no exception. An odometer record was kept and all important documents including regular maintenance and all invoices were carefully kept in a thick folder full of history.
This 2.7 RS exceeds all expectations, unlike many others that were restored here and there, whether properly or not, this example has remained free of total restoration. The bodywork is in good condition as is the interior. Once you get behind the wheel, you immediately understand why this is the most sought-after 911 on the market. The sound, acceleration and handling are second to none. The Flat 6 air-cooled engine produces 210 hp and weighing just 1093kg, the Five-speed gearbox takes you from 0-100 in 6.3 seconds
We are delighted to have the opportunity to offer such an original and unblemished example of what has become the most recognised and sought-after 911 of all. The Carrera RS remains not only an excellent car to drive, but also qualifies for almost every historical event imaginable these days, while its value among collectors and enthusiasts continues to rise.
Great pics of 0980 Hugh! What kind of wheels did they have on it during the Rallye, definitely not Fuchses:D
Light yellow for sale at VSOC is 0214 and the one in Belgium 0672. Had some changes after it was sold by DK engineering in 2020, seems the seats have been retrimmed, or it is a different set. Pity it lost the Italian style front indicator lenses as well.

Dealer Description:
- Elaborately restored
- Rare lightweight design
- Complete history
The vehicle shown here was produced in April 1973 and first registered in Austria on May 15, 1973. The car was demonstrably registered to Porsche Konstruktionen KG in Vienna until 13.11.1973.
The first owner ordered the car with four extra options: Limited slip differential (code 220), headrests left and right (code 258), Blaupunkt Coburg radio (code 454), and fog lights in yellow, H3 mounted below the front bumper (code 459).
On 14/11/1973 the car was registered to its second owner, an Austrian manufacturer and great automobile fan. From here on the car remained in his possession for 20 years.
From 1993 to 2006 the car was among the exhibits of an automobile museum in Austria. In 2006, the car came to Germany and was restored here by the internationally renowned Porsche specialist Alois Ruf for a German Porsche enthusiast extremely elaborately. The team around Alois Ruf did an impressive job. The fit of the doors and hoods, as well as the overall lines in the body are perfect. All work is impressively documented by invoices and photo documentation.
Just as impressive as the quality of the restoration, along with documentation, is the provable service history. From 21.05.1973 until today there are 26 service entries in the original, still existing, care passport. In addition to the original care passport, there is also the original Porsche care card for a Porsche factory exchange engine. The scope of delivery includes the original on-board folder with the 1973 owner's manual, the blue appendix for the owner's manual for the lightweight version, as well as the Porsche service station booklet.
A real Porsche 911 2.7 RS Lightweight (M471) with a complete history!
The Axel Schütte car is 1144. Another one with the wrong rear slam panel....was this done by Ruf?
