After a little book work 928s post and link is correct...
The old rounded body work on the PA needed more down force so Richie Ginther and his crew at Competition Motors and the Vesek crew did the front end work on 028 and tested it at Riverside.
The last CanAm of '69 was scheduled for Las Vegas (Stardust GP 'parking lot' track) but it was damaged by rain... So, the Nov. CanAM was rescheduled for the new Texas Motor Speedway tri-ovel ... McLaren was clocked at 210 !!!!... Siffert and 028 came in 4th....
