Auction Description:
Delivered new through Park Porsche Audi of Buena Park, California, in July 1972, this 911 S was optioned with US-market equipment, stabilizer bars, KONI shocks, tinted glass, and antenna with noise suppressor per its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity on file. Retaining its matching-numbers engine, this 911 S was restored between 2014 and 2015, with supporting receipts on file. Mechanical work was performed by Jerry Woods Enterprises, while the body was refinished in the original shade of Light Ivory by Freddie Hernandez of Vintage Sportscar Restorations. A contrasting red leatherette interior and desirable Recaro sport seats with houndstooth inserts were installed by Autobahn Interiors. Subtly modified, noteworthy features include a limited-slip differential, driving lights, smaller-diameter steering wheel, and flared fender lips to accommodate wider Fuchs wheels.
Well-cared for under enthusiast ownership since 2004, this car is accompanied by its books, tools, spare tire, restoration receipts, and a cache of spare parts. Ready to be enjoyed, this sale represents an opportunity to acquire a detailed and high-performance early 911 S.

Cooper Classics has the pleasure of offering for sale this 1967 911S Sunroof which has been restored to near Concours level. This Bahama yellow beauty retains both its matching numbers engine, transmission, all confirmed by the COA. This 1967 911S is from the first year of 911S production. This 911 presents as new inside, outside, and underneath, with paint that looks new, a freshly reupholstered interior with new seat upholstery, and it received a full engine rebuild on its matching numbers original engine in May 2022 by Porsche experts RennWerke Porsche with all receipts. The shade of Bahama Yellow selected by the previous owner was just about one shade brighter, and in our showroom it is lovingly referred to as the Bahama Bright Yellow Car. The car has a few carefully selected tasteful upgrades (all of which are 100% reversible), which include RS Style Door Panels, and a Rear Seat delete (with upholstered carpet). The original matching numbers 5 speed transmission shifts like butter and the car stops on a dime. The rarely seen and often deleted Webasto Heater is present and in restored condition. The car was owned most of its life by an NJ based collector who restored it for his own usage. We recently took this 911S out for a 50 mile drive and it drives like a brand new 1967 911 would with plenty of power compared to a regular 911 and sporty and exciting driving dynamics. The 911S was extremely popular as it had 30% more power than a 911, at 160HP. The extremely rare Electric Sunroof works perfectly and is a dream on nice sunny days. This 911S comes with its COA, Books, Tools, and Spare Wheel
