They are not "earlier" bumperettes they are correct for all 73 cars in Australia we didn't have to have those oversized rubber horns that ruin the look of so many USA cars.

NICE cars....you finally got the PICS posted. Really lookin' NICE!!!!!!! ;)
Beautiful car Clyde...
... must be a late build (March or after)
Cheers mate,
Thanks Stacey and Chuck. It is actually the first RHD 2.4S Targa ever to make it to Australia as RHD Targas did not exist until 1973. First registered in July 1973 build was in April I think Chuck
Hope to have it completed by Xmas this year but as you can see its not that far away but its always the last smaller jobs that seem to hold the project up.
It hasn't been on the road yet but its starts beautifully and runs as smooth as is possible, wish my RS sounded as good.
Thnaks to Brian for posting the pics I have completely given up, no matter what size I take the pics in it says they are too big to post!!!!!
Awesome cars!
I've spent way way way too much $ and time on my car and it still doesn't even come close to some of the things I'm seeing here. I'm starting to see that you really don't get results like that unless you do it all yourself. Who else is going to obsess over it to that degree. When I told my incredibly understanding and long suffering girlfriend that I was buying an early 911 she complained to her girlfriend, "Now we'll never get a house." The wise friend replied,"No. You don't get it. Now he's going to want a house because he's going to need a garage." Women! It's amazing the way thier minds work.
I managed to get my car together in time to compete in this year's Targa Newfoundland. Too bad there weren't any other Registry cars there. I posted some images in another thread.
Thanks to the people who responded to my search for a cylinder head for my '69S. I found two NOS heads at Parts Obsolete. Thanks Gary Emory.
... some A.R.B. (after roll bar) pics... :)
Handsome ride Chuck!

Maybe, but I wonder if Chuck would be willing to take that fabulous beast of his for a run at the Targa - I would hope not.
From what I've seen it can get quite messy.
You are so lucky to have an early car that you can get filthy with ,although your car sure does look clean in the pics - and that 356 - geez maybe you're both nuts to use such nice cars to rally.
I wish I could bring myself to use my car like that.
A.T.! A.T ! A.T !
