Well, I guess that by referring to the designation, than any misunderstanding related to construction year / model year, etc can be avoided

I think the confusion came from the use of abbreviations here. S/R can sometimes stand for "sunroof". Then there is the S/T racing model. So S/F was a little confusing. If you had said F series 911S we would have understood right away.
My white car is a 911 R/B.:D
Hahaha. :D
R/b 1 - s/f 0 ;)
Interesting. And I'm trying to track down some previous owners, as well
Also interesting --- thank you for that explanation
Looks like you have a wonderful car. Try to post some more 'travel' pics, if you can. I've never been to Italy --- it'd be fun to see where you take your car when you drive, over there
Rick
Rick, actually I've never driven it in Italy yet because I live abroad ... maybe in the future
I have seen your gallery ... nice one you have ... I might be biased but I love Euro specs :D
Nice pic Ric!
The Italian Alps, and all the Alps, is what the Porsche car was built for. That is exactly the kind of driving that Dr. Porsche intended.
