I thank all who post pictures and information about these cars. I am surprised to see a Targa running with the coupes. Is there any info on that car?

I believe the #132 ST is a period picture, just looking at the quality of the picture, the tires, sideburns on the guy behind, helmets on the occupants, and the way the bumper mounted driving lights look, etc. I think the title of the pic in my file says it is Jurgen in the 71 TdF....but I could be wrong.
Front bumper is steel as well as rear. Rear bumper is a standard steel one that was widend and over riders deleted. Front is the same

I believe I remember seeing the hulk of that Targa being raced in the 2nd photo .... at Freisinger ? in the last couple years. Even though it looks to be a male driver in that particular photo . If it is the car i'm speaking of . It had a woman owner/driver & it was based in Germany. I can't find any other photo's of it at the moment.
And yes , car # 132 is J. Barth with Jose Dolhem at 1971 Tour de France . Here's a better photo of this crew :

Going back to discussions of MFI vs. carbs, I rec'd these pics from 'Bantam' (Out of Africa T/R thread) who got them from a friend who took them following a restoration. They show a 72 Toad Hall ST (9112301139) with 46 Webers. I have not seen pics of the engines from the other Toad Hall STs, but these certainly support the option for Webers was available for the 72 STs. Does anyone have pics of other Toad Hall ST engines?
Gib,
I can't find it now (it might be in this thread) of a pic Keyser took at Werks I of his ST engine ready to install on a stand ....... with, I believe, high butterfly injection.
I think so Max.....
