I would be glad to write an article about SWB headlights, including H1's, if Jim Breazeale would be kind enough to review it for us.
Cheers,
John
Guys,
This was posted almost 3 years ago:
It's not that this need goes away.......... :rolleyes:Quote:
Guys,
WE NEED MORE ARTICLES for the ESSES….
This is your news magazine for your community…
John D. needs more of your articles and photos for our outstanding magazine…
We need more then our Regions Reports (BTW Regions, this is part of the deal, please get them into John ASAP!!!)
Our community has grown, our club has grown, and our club’s magazine has grown into a world class publication.
But this only works if you participate…..
Now who doesn’t like to read and see their own car featured for their friends and community…
Be a member of the club, write an article, and include high res photos… and send them to John Dilger at:
JohnDilger@aol.com
I know we have MANY new members in the last 3 years that have plenty to write about and photograph...
Let's get your articles and high res photos in to John D. and share your Early 911 projects, adventures, and tech articles to John Dilger at: JohnDilger@aol.com
"Now who doesn’t like to read and see their own car featured for their friends and community…"... ;)
And BTW - Those Early S Regional contacts are suppose to be responsible for a quarterly article/up-date for their respective regions..... Looking at the last few ESSES you realize we've been pretty 'thin' when it comes to regional reports.... PLEASE... lets get to know what you'all are up to through the country and around the world....... Please get your articles/reports/up-dates to John D. at:
JohnDilger@aol.com
Cheers,
The Registry

Plenty of new members with new projects... plenty of old members with new projects, plenty of old members with old projects that have never been written up and photographed.... and plenty of tech and DIY articles to be shared with our community.......
PLEASE write'm up, shoot'm up (high res) and send'm to John Dilger...
And have the pleasure and satisfaction of sharing your own work in the ESSES with your community.... :)
Send'm to John Dilger at:

Holiday Cheers,

Part of the reason that our ESSES was late this quarter was that John Dilger was waiting for some more articles...
Quoting John in his ESSES 'Due Dilgerence' (Editor's column):
With the amount of build and project information on this board we should NEVER be at a loss for articles to enhance one of the very best car club quarterlies anywhere.......Quote:
All of you around the early 911 world, you have the opportunity to be a star in ESSES, tell us about your car or pass along some technical knowledge! Write something, include high resolution photos, send it in and it will appear in ESSES. Don’t worry about formatting, spelling, grammar, of layout; we will take care of all that.
Again:
Plenty of new members with new projects... plenty of old members with new projects, plenty of old members with old projects that have never been written up and photographed.... and plenty of tech and DIY articles to be shared with our community.......
PLEASE write'm up, shoot'm up (high res) and send'm to John Dilger...

I sent an article to John on the 7th, and today I asked again if he got it, at present with no response.
Is him away or just too many articles to evaluate?
:)

Mauro Borella
Great issue ! [Volume 25 No.: 4] The photography is beautiful and stories interesting and informative. This Porsche magazine is second to none imo.
Keep up the terrific work and thanks. -Matt
Any interest in having an article on how to cook a "Blanquette de veau" ?
Btw, watch out the next issue (Spring 2016 I guess) as there will be a greaaaaaatttttt one on a jolie RSR 2.8 sosie.

I would like to sing the praises of the article in the 2016 Summer addition, The 5 things you need to know about oil and fuel, by Lake Speed Jr. This is the best article I have ever read on these subjects absolute full marks well done, I will remain a member even with out a 911 just for articles like this.
Is it possible to buy in Europe at a reasonable price? Regards!!
