I'm just exploring what the various period wheel options were for the early 911. :cool:Quote:

This is a Carrera RS 3.0 rally car. I could see these unusual wheels looking better in black paint. I don't think they are of the period though.
You think they look awful - just try cleaning them. It takes as long to clean the wheels as to do the rest of the car. My Audi came with Ronals and they were a nightmare. They are going on e-bay for some poor sucker.
I posted this pic somewhere and got not a ton of help. I have one, and really would like another to match. Outside lip to outside lip, is a little over 8". They kinda look like minilights, but the spoke design is differant.
Rick, I don't know...Panasport maybe?? Here are the Minilites of the time.
Thanks Jens,
I'll sit back and maybe someone will pull through with a answer, or maybe a wheel!!
Rick
Is the no identity in the casting of that rim? There should be a size at least.
My right front went flat the other day. It gave me the oppourtunity to throw on my ATS and take a quick drive.

I like that look Earl! Nice.
Here are some 356 repros in alloy. The one on the right is 356C and 911 fitment. I've lost the link to who makes these. Does someone know? Beautiful but expensive as I remember.
At Dunkle's last week there were a few people who had those wheels on 356 cars. They are made on the west coast somewhere.
