So Tom, is the 73.5 T the one on the lift in the colection warehouse pictures? Is the paint platinum? I can't find any pictures or references to it in the auction.
Thanks,
Bob

RM Auctions has a few ready to cross the block in Monterey as well. Have a look at this 1953 356 America Roadster (it was shown this spring at Amelia in the Concours) estimated to sell for $750k to $950k. (pictures below)

Also, a favorite of mine, the Aston Martin DB4 GT, same estimated selling price http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCar...&SaleCode=MO06
One final note, not at Monterey but Paul Russell and Company has a 1971 911 ST listed now for a cool half million (click "sales" and scroll down a few cars)

Ouch!
Is this the one Jeff Zwart owns (owned)? He had it at Andial for an Open House. Sam took many photos of it. Jeff also brought it to Rennsport II.Quote:

BTW: Jeff was at the last LAX Lit. Show. He was starting to market a REALLY NICE book of all the historical cars he photographed that were at Rennsport II. The book is due out in August?
Here are some photos I took of the RM America Roadster at the 2005 356 ECH.
Next to the beautiful 356A Carrera's and the Speedsters at the East Coast Holiday it seemed as if the America Roadster's designers hadn't finished the job.
I will be in Monterey. The ex-Dick Barbour roadster was accepted to the race and we plan on attending most of the auctions.

Thanks to the link to more detail on this auction. I am disappointed to see the ST missing from the lot descriptions so it must have been withdrawn from the sale.:(
You're right the S/T has dissapeared. Or it was sold privately, or the owner changed is mind, or there was a problem with the car. Since I work for Christie's, I'll ask my colleagues from the car department and will let you know...
Paul Russull has this one and although it doesn`t list the price now,I believe he had it up for 500K initially.---#9111301148. Ran LeMans 1971 with Ritchie Ginther, Alan Johnson, Elliot Forbes-Robinson, under 1900 lbs., 285hp, 180mph on Mulsanne Straight, alloy doors, decklid, glass hood, frt. fenders. Fully restored by David Morse with a full write up on the resto in Oct. '98 Excellence. Detailed top to bottom. Totally set up and dialed in for the track. Incredible car with great history.
