Given today's financial market, I would venture that hard assets are a solid play for the savvy investor. Key word being savvy.

Lot #120, the Ford GR1 display roller on functioning GT platform (no engine, drivetrain or interior) sold for $70K.
Whoever finishes it is gonna have something unique for pretty reasonable money.
Will be interesting to see the '70S, so far I'm seeing a lot of cars being short of the low estimate, including that Ferrari Daytona at $275k.

And watching this feed I'm struck by how many cars Shelby is bidding on.
