Thanks. We all know some people, that know some people, that own some of those cars today!
I suggest watching Part 2: starting at about 13:00 there is some terrific racing footage of Daytona '73 with Haywood and Gregg; Le Mans '73 with Muller -- both races with a young Norbert Singer as rennleiter. Also the '74 IROC at launch (with ducks) and at both Riverside and Daytona.

simply breathtaking stuff.
Thanks for posting this, I am grinning from ear to ear.
I think it may be my champagne yellow 1965 Porsche 912. It is serial number 451234, and was shipped to Porsche of North America Corp. in Teaneck NJ shortly after its build date of 7/20/1965. It is a numbers matching original car, with early USA spec. motor number 740590 616/36, and transmission number 160091 902.0. Paint code is 6405.
My original Porsche COA lists the importer as Porsche, Teaneck, NJ
Too bad Porsche doesn't copy the Kardex any more, as it would list the name and address of the original owner. I do have paper from the 2nd owner stating the car was first purchased by Lester Ingram.
