pistons... the story on these is that they did not pass quality control. instead of throwing them away, they were dressed up w/ the factory crest & handed out as presentation pieces and / or sold through the boutique program. not sure of the lineage. IIRC, one is supposed to be TYP959. not sure about the other.

Okay, I've been looking at this long enough without adding anything to it. In brochures thus far I don't think I've seen the "Transart", the 67 Competition Driver or the 901 Preliminary Specs, so I'll add them. The 901 Specs is the same size as the 901 brochure, I've not ever seen one except for this one. Thanks for starting the thread, Thomas, it's been really great.

Is anyone selling a collection?

I'm not aware of a collection being sold, except Walter Rohl's collection at Landenburg Auktion in November.

Nice brochures! the competition and the 901 brochures are rare and very hard to find. Can you post more picture of the first one? is it a portfolio of prints?

Porsche executive pen from early 70's

Hi Thomas -

It's a sales brochure, four in one Targa. In the center it has a car with three clear sheet pages in front of it, one with the side windows, one with rear window and then one with the top. Here is the cover of the brochure and then the car/foldover pages in reverse order.

I guess I missed a little putting the top on:-) I actually couldn't find what I did with the brochure from last night, and while looking for it found a couple of other things I've not seen in a while. The second is 43 pages, I don't know if it was the first parts list or the first with prices, but it looks like it is one of them.
