It was an aftermarket part. They are made by a company named Amco. I never liked the look of the front bar, but the rear bar was cool. I had one on my ex 71T for a while. here is a pic of how it looked.Quote:

Thanks John. Unfortunately my 1967 911 normale was sold a few years ago. The replacement is an 82SC (ex-Wayne's "muse" car for his 101 Projects book). It just passed the German TÜV with flying colors. Because it is now over 30 years old it is eligible for "H" historic license plates in germany which makes insurance and annual taxes much cheaper. I also just upgraded to a pair of Euro rear bumpers so the long license plates will fit the car. This car is really a sleeper. Easy to drive around town, but capable of doing 140mph on the Autobahn when open road and the left lane is available. The PO upgraded the front oil cooler to the carrera style so temps should stay cool even with the motor pulling above 6000 revs for extended periods :).Quote:

In Va, we get six or so dustings to 6-8 inches per winter season. A 12+ inch storm happens only once every few years. Good news is the forecast has temperatures above 50 for the next several days, so melting should be quick.
For some reason Shenandoah Valley just doesn't seem right without a couple feet of snow on the ground.Must have something to do with the movie `Shenandoah`

Me at le Mans track last saturday, passing through 'le chemin aux boeufs'. The 964 behing gave me hard time, but he did not takeover for the 30 minutes session.
