Type 901/xx Engine Build #'s

Delivered new to Half Moon Bay, CA and resides in Oakland now. I will put up some pics later today.

Yes, this is the car from the UK, I brought it back to the US to redo a lot of the work and make corrections needed.
What Allen stated above is correct but I was hoping to get more info thru the engine number...
Car was completed on August 5th 1966 according to the files that came with it.

There are least two earlier S's known. 305133S and 305136S which had resp. tranny 103013 and 103012

Since your orig transmission is 103077 - 901/02 it's more likely that it's not the 3rd completed.

I have a spare 911 case with no numbers (zero identification) could they have come off a replacement engine?

Yes, replacement cases would not have serial or type data stamped. It would be interesting to know the pairing # stamped on the two stud bosses on the top of the case, the casing numbers on each side 101.xR & 102.xR, and if it is an aluminum case, the date codes on each half behind the pulley.

I have updated the list in my first post. Just hit the 10,0000 character limit for the first time. I will probably have to split the list soon.
