Wow...very nice!

I just picked up my 1969 911T from a neighbor who was retiring. It was hidden away in his garage since 2000. Parked after a full service, with a full tank. Found it through word of mouth that I was looking for a project car. Didn't expect to find her. 66k miles on a documented California car. Dirty, with four flats, but blissfully rust free. (Even the battery boxes were clean) :). Same owner since the mid'80's

I plan to return her to her original condition. Preservation, not restoration. Undo the "80's" updates ( original steering wheel, and rear grill were included). Car matches its Certificate, except the Fuchs which must have been the previous owners upgrade.
Congratulations on a great find Vnarma. Welcome to the Registry.
My ride ('70 911T) along with its stable mates (two of which are also air-cooled)

Great story, Jack. That's why road trips are the best--all the twists and turns (literally and figuratively). :)
Okay, an little cleaning to remove the dirt and cobwebs removed from its storage after 14 years makes her look much prettier. She drove for the first time this weekend. Slowly returning to life. In the background is her garagemate. Never owned a red car in my life, now I have two.

Done ! Visually anyway... Seen here with the Weidman Wheels that I just received & fresh tires (went with 195s for a change)

I still need to patch the bulkhead/smuggler's boot where the A/C was, and plug some AC line holes here and there...
But it's close now...
The visuals look sweet, Greg... nice job! What's under that pretty skin?
