Here's my 72t with "s" options including recaros and power windows. Seats are now in my targa and I have a set of Peter Zwinakis seats.
1995 3.6 motor, late carrera suspension with smart racing stuff, Xenons, RS carpet, deleted the A/C, glass front hood and tail, talbot mirror (I just like it?), etc, etc etc...
Other stablemates: 72 gulf blue 911E targa, and a 1973 Gemini blue, non-sunroof solid 911t CIS (may be for sale very soon).
All California cars, but I recently moved to WA
I'll post better pix once I am settled in here.
PS Anyone want to be my Porsche friend here in WA???? Ugh lots of cops here. I am used to hitting 140mph on the 215 in So Cal :(
PPS The possibly for sale 73.5 is still in CA.

Hope the pic posts?
RB, what part of Washington are you in? There are lots of us up here, see this thread:

Also you will find some guys and info on the NW section of the Pelican board.
I'm in Redmond, east of Seattle.
Oooooh good info!
I'm actually in Issaquah and have one (non-porsche) friend here :(
Soooo I will definitely join the local clubs etc...
Hmmm embarrasing though: I have NEVER been in a club or group. Also I DESPERATELY NEED drivers Ed - I have never really autocrossed yikes or other.
I mainly wax rice cookers on the Cali freeways...
I have been working on 911s since I was 19. I do most anything my rental garages will allow, haven't tackled paint yet but that's coming once I have a home. My first 911E (had 10 years)with a 3.0 was sold to Tom Tweed in San Diego a while back. I kinda want it back ;) .
My 72 now with 3.6 was bought from Peter Zwinakis (Vintage Seats).
Thanks for the info! I really hope to be at the next local event, I am a die hard 911 fanatic.

Here's the 73.5t I may have to sell, depending on employment and income here.... will only sell if I get desperate or if someone offers crazy money :p
I don't know if you can still get in but there is a Porsche Club Drivers Skills Day tomorrow. This is an EXCELLENT introduction to performance driving your Pcar. Last opportunity until next spring. Here is the info:

Here's a pic of my Pastel Blue '70E against the autumn Ozark mountains. 2.7 MFI, Carrera front suspension, Boxster brakes. 195hp at the rear wheels, 175 ft/lb of torque...not bad me thinks! Lots of fun anyway.
Old fart that I am, it's hard to refer to you as RussianBlue and Trash Smasher
however, your cars look GREAT...
Very familiar with the color on Russian's cars ... and Smasher's looks to be one of the sleepers of all time... ;)
Welcome to the board ... and hopefully you'll join the club...
Cheers,
Russian Blue, welcome to the soggy NW. We have a loosely formed group of loyalists who get info here on get togethers, runs, etc - not affiliated with any club, just a good group of enthusiasts: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/forum...45&forumid=249
I live in Fall City, which is east of Bellevue and Issaquah - out I-90. Hope to see you at some of the local happenings.

I still haven't finished the silver '73 after all these years-- too busy driving it to get it painted at first, and then I blew the 3.0 up at Willow Springs missing a shift on the front straight, so I dropped in a hotrod 3.4 which thinned my wallet too far to do anything else. Here's some pics of it from a couple weeks ago when I ran it at Thunderhill Raceway in a DE, still with primer on the RS flares.

In deference to the budget picture now that I am retiring, I ran my '67S on street tires in the PCA-SDR autox series this year and skipped the Time Trial series. This 37-year-old stocker put the hurt on the GS/S class, winning every event by a wide margin in its class, and posted TTOD on overall indexed time at 4 events. It often beat the 993s, 996s and Boxster S models on raw time with its scrawny little 2.0 motor!

Hope you do hook up with the PNW guys and get some DE experience in the '72- you'll love it!
Good luck and good driving to ya,
TT
Ahhhhhhhhhh my silver bullet 73E!!!!!!!
My first 911, and my first restoration/modification project.
I built that 3.0 somewhere around 1989, well top end at least.
Well Tom, if you ever wanna sell it - I'd buy it just for sentimental reasons - and I'd paint it!! :)
Oh the 930, rebuilt that thing too and it was very tolerable on "lag" with the mods ets...
Darn thing wouldn't pass visual in Cali... sold it to a Philip Kahn in Colorado.
But yes my heart is with the early light cars. Someday I'll have a late model again, but always an early car in the garage.
Anyhow good to see you drive it, obviously.
Not into garage queens, unless they are really special cars etc...
:)
