'. . . This RS is complete with the original German "Fahrzeugbrief" registration that documents every owner from new until the car was sold to USAF Doctor, Herminio Cuervo, in 1980 in Germany. Dr. Cuervo later imported the car to his home state of Florida. Import papers to the USA are included in the history file along with correspondences from all subsequent owners to present. The chain of ownership is fully documented and there are no gaps in time. The most recent owner, a Dr. in Modesto, CA, purchased the car in 2003. During his ownership, the Dr. had the car serviced and mechanically restored by noted specialist, Jerry Woods. All-in, over $50,000 was spent on rebuilds of the engine, gearbox, suspension and brakes. The receipts are on hand and will be included in the sale . . .'
