New to the registry, so I thought I'd drop in and say gday and thanks for having me.
It may not be a 911, but it's the next best thing at the moment. A 1966 912
Undergoing a preservation more than a restoration, as I'm using as many of the original parts that were fitted in 1966.
I'm just waiting on bumpers to be repainted, then it's not far from being registered for road use.
All work on the car was either done in my garage, or a mates carport.
It was a dodgy white paintwork when I bought it 18 months ago, and was stripped to bare metal after we did a check on the original colour which was Black.
LOTS of bog/bondo or mud as you Americans call it was removed, which revealed some nasty dents, but no rust. It required lots of bodywork to get to where it is now, and we replaced the floor pan.
