The Werks centered a Bosch kill switch on the speaker grill of the 911 ST to provide a means of breaking the electrical circuit between the battery and the starter motor.
A length of cable was spliced into the loom to run from the battery to the Bosch switch on the speaker grill. Another length of cable runs from the Bosch switch back to the starter motor.
The first pic shows the installation on of the Bosch switch on the speaker grill of a '71 ST.
Second image shows the red cable spliced into the hot rod's loom for the battery connection.
Third image shows the two cable ends sprouting up through the speaker grill cavity, ready to wire the Bosch switch.
The original manufacturer's yellow vinyl label was re-applied to the loom upon completion of the splice.
Final image shows that the last fender bolt is left unpainted. Porsche painted the 911 with the front fenders mounted. But, the Werks left off the last bolt until after the fender-to-cowl welting was installed. This meant that the last bolt never saw the spray gun.

The first image shows that the glove box door finally has gone missing from the dash.
This treatment comports with the lightweight specs as laid down by the Werks (and enforced by John) calling for deletion of the ash tray, passenger side sun visor and glove box door.
The flocking on the old glove box was still good but a PO had liberally perforated it to install electronics of some sort. Rather than restore the original glove box, we ordered a new one from Porsche.
There are not too many parts that Porsche maintains in inventory today that still carry a 901 part number. But, the glove box is one of them. This glove box came from parts central in Germany, but it may not have the correct texture on the casing. Vintage Racer captains the glove box polizei; perhaps he will opine.
Ken mounted the balsa lid and has it nicely aligned.
We can drill the lid for the GHE rubber locks as soon as the front bumper is mounted.
The bumper brackets are ready for mounting, having been painted satin black together with the Type 356B Carrera 2 oil line clamp (NLA 692.107.357.00). Kenny made this one from a 356 muffler clamp.
The project continues to show progress with completion of a great deal of finish work during the past year.
The old ST front and rear race lids were restored and painted.
The tub, alu skinned doors, floors, pan, dash, engine bay and fuel bay went to final paint.
The body received its final color coat, now buffed out.
The mounting brackets for the sports security belts were fabricated and installed.
All the suspension components went to paint.
The trimmer completed the installation of headliner and carpets.
Projects are not built in a day and it takes research, enthusiasm and a positive attitude to keep them alive. Auto Associates has the right stuff.
All in all, a pretty good 2009.

I guess you are correcting the part nbr provided by Joris and that the correct nbr is E 692 107 363 00 rather than 692.107.357.00.
We don't have access to a 356 C 2 parts book but would be grateful if you could scan the page with the part nbr and Joris could then compare.
The first image attached this post shows the "wrong" clamp. This shows the later, ribbed oil line clamp used on the rocker mounted oil cooler lines for MY 1972 onwards. When we first studied the ST document image, we thought this is what we recognized. However, we were wrong! I guess the ribbed clamp did yet not exist when the Race Department reconstructed the MY 1971 911S to Group 4 specs. The ribbed clamp appears to be an improved version of the Carrera 2 part.
The second image shows the clamp made up for the hot rod, which I understand duplicates a Type 356B Carrera 2 oil line clamp.
