On a more serious note, I cant believe there is no option for Tangerine
OK, OK, I admit I voted twice, :( , I couldn't help myself. But it was really because I read the survey as "what colorS" rather in the singular. So, beat me, relegate me to the basement apartment. SNIFF, I don't know what got into me. Really, it was a mistake, I won't let it happen again. :o ;)Quote:

If you love Viper and Conda, you cannot exclude Signal Green. They are soooo close to each other. Oh and Irish Green, even though much darker is one of the most elegant colors ever.Quote:

Hello: I guess I will have to restore the 70s back to the original conda green from the badly painted black it is now. Thanks Eric
Sand beige!
Pic was taken sometime in 09/04. Regular is over $2/gal here now. Im sure it could be worse.Quote:

Some colors I like better than others, but I dont mind Sepia at all. Its an early '70s color that works on an early '70s car. I do completely understand that some people could never live with the color. There are colors Ive seen on these cars that I feel the same way about.
Some of my other favorite period colors are:
Leaf Green (6830)
Olive (414)
Slate Grey (L6401)
Sea Foam Green (someone please give me the paint code for this!)
Dont get me wrong, I like the louder early '70s period colors like Blutorange (my other car), Chartruse, and Viper Green also. Silver metallic looks good on any era 911. The blue metallics like on Lars (335 Gemini Blue), Chucks (334 Meduim Blue), and Danes (Glasurit color) cars are great colors.
Honestly, I think the only color I cant get past is Rose. Im not a fan of Reds either, but I think they work well on some other peoples cars.
OK I voted and of coarse I am biased. It is hard to vote for just one color though. There are so many to love for different reasons. Silver is just so classic and symbolizes Porsche, white/ivory very clean and pure looking, and then the very period bold, bright, non-deluted 'right out of the tube' colors....yea!
Regards,
No doubt, Slate Grey / Red leather. Second choice is Tangerine.
