Bert,
Awesome story and a hearty congrats! :) Sometimes a little luck and persistence really pays off. Enjoy that car to its fullest as I know you will do. And I REALLY love that color! Great job on bringing her back to life.

You should have a slug of pics of the 912.

Hi Shawn,
It was great seeing you and Barbara at GAF. Glad you like the car.
Hi Alba,
I received your 912 photos of Turkish Green. The car looked great. The shade looks a little darker.
Hi Bert,
Yes the car was very nice. If you saw it today--it might make you weep. It is a crumpled mass of sheetmetal. Fortunately-no serious inury.
Regarding color--it could be shade darker for sure. I wish I had some pics in better light though.

The four digit codes that Porsche used that differentiated between Coupe and Targa ended in 71'. Starting in 72' Porsche went with the 3 digit universal codes so no 72' would have a 4 digit code.Quote:

Beautiful car. Love the colour.
The RS book does not list Jade Green but instead calls it Light Green. In answer to your request for an RS pic, here are a couple of an RS in New Zealand.

Hi Paul,
Light Green and Jade Green are the same color. I think one name was used in Europe and one name for the U.S. market. Just like Tangerine Orange and Blood Orange.
Thanks for sharing the photos. Jade Green looks good on an RS.
