Thanks for the nice comments guys. This is strickly a driver, the photos don't show the rather tired paint, but the car runs and drives very well though and that is the reason we picked it up. After being involved with 2 major projects we wanted a car to just get in and drive.
Obvioulsy the tires are a bit dangerous but I have a set of Harvey done deep sixes with Tom Dance supplied XWX tires coming to put on the car. Should look great with those.
Shawn,
Would you settle for Simon and Garfunkel instead of the Eagles?
Funny story, Peter Frampton is a neighbor to my wife's sister's family in Cincinnati and their kids all go to the same school. Hard to picture Frampton dropping off the kids at school and then going home to mow the yard. :D
Many great looking cars here!

Nice car Brian, That 69 S that I had last year had those same big fog lights. They look bigger than the 129s. How about lowering it, some Porsche side decals AND Porsche decals on the rear lid since there are not any emblems?Good luck with it. Cool car.
Best,
Don
New toy, nice little T.

Here's my ride. My first 911. I finally got it home and cleaned up and have working on breaking it in and changing a few things to my liking. It will surely be a long term project but is streetable so there's no waiting for the fun.
Pretty cool Bonzo (if that is your real name). ;)
Looks like you have the makings of an S/T on your hands, or maybe an RSR if those are 11" rear flares.
Keep us posted.
Yes, very nice Bonzo! Welcome to the club...
Thanks Jens and Michael.
I'd say it's on it's way to being an RSR clone. The previous owner did all the body mods himself and did very nice job. I don't know how accurate to flares are to an RSR but I have 9x15's in the front and 11x15's in the rear. Future plans call for a Ducktail and finishing out the interior(currently only has seats and harness and the obvious for driving!) as well as other odds and ends.
Try This Again..
Execmalibu,
That is quite a teaser. Please share some more photos of your cars.
Nice little fleet. Perhaps we need a new thread entitled "My Other Rides".
Jim
Here's some updated pics of my racing 69 911S, hope you enjoy them !
Reminds me a little bit of this...
That was (part) of the inspiration !
The Car in Front is the 1973 "E" Sunroof with the Original Paint That There Has Been Such A Stir About Recently.. The Car is a Special Order Color both Exterior (Ivory) and Interior ( Brown) Plus! Full Leather, Sport Seats, Factory Air and is the 10th from the Last 1973 "E" built.. This Car Was Probably Built On The Last Day of Production For the 1973 Body Type...

The 911 RS is #0358 (actually the month and year I was born) it's RHD and now resides in the USA. The photo was taken at Hershey during the 50th Parade. The big yellow Truck is not mine, although I do have the same surname.

2.4E --> 2.7RS engine rebuild is finally finished and I'm breaking it in. After putting on roughly 500 miles yesterday, many in the rain  , I'm air-drying it out under the sun.

Hey John,

Sorry, that's too light - proceed to the pits for a pair of 25lb. bumper weights.
And put out those flames ! :D

Don't worry my current shape takes away alot of the lightness............

Looks sweet Jim
Hey Jim, good to see the E running again. I just finished my rebuild too, but went with a high compression 2.4 instead of the 2.7. Did you keep the mfi?
Thanks guys. Tom, I did retain MFI for this engine, but now it's a 2.4T MFI system converted to S/RS specs (S/RS-spec stacks & throttle bodies, pump has the RS space cam). I also had the compression ratio bumped a bit. The heads are twin-pluged and when my wallet recovers, I will add in the twin-plug ignition. As it stands right now, it's a substantial jump in performance from my somewhat tired 2.4E engine. I sill have some fine tuning ahead of me and hopefully I'll eek out even more performance. :)

WOW,
You have a great looking 911 !
What is it about a Green Porsche 911 ? :D
Type911,
I am with you. IMO silver and red are overplayed. Nothing like a green 911 on a nice day in the countryside - doing 100mph! Or orange, aubergine, gemini blue, aquamarine, or yellow
"IMO silver and red are overplayed"
I resemble that comment! ;)
Curt, your paint is too shiny if I can see your wheel reflected in the open door. ;)
Isn't it...'Taking Tiger Mountain (By Stradegy)...'? I believe so..... :)Quote:

By the way, I have seen pic's of that beautiful irish green cab you have too! I sent you a pm last year asking you of you wanted to sell it.
Curt, as for silver and red, I am not suggesting that silver and red early 911's are bad, just very cliched. Those red loundstooth seats are beautiful...
Gruen911,
Where are you located?..those are some steep Mts in the background
Looks like Garmisch or Innsbruck.

Those are pics of Switzerland on the way south thru St Gotthard Pass. There was a thread back in late May which had quite a few pics of GeorgeK and I meeting up in Andermatt.

SEMJON, Lovely car !!!!!!!
VERY nice looking 65/66 ivory 911 (sunroofus coupus). Whoever designated these early non-911S cars as "normales" anyway. There is nothing normal about an early 2.0 911!
Thanks Ervikingo!
And "sunroofus coupus" hahahhaa, that's great! I'll remember that one for sure :D
But I do agree with you. There's nothing normal about an early 2.0
They are getting rarer and rarer.
Once again thanks for the compliments!

Very nice 911 Semjon. Thanks for sharing.
I also have to point out your parking lot neighbor in the last photo. That's one cool VW, the Synchro Golf(can't remember the actual name).

Semjon,
I see you are in the Netherlands. Are you planning on going to the Porsche meeting on Sept 17th in Interlaken. I am planning to go. If you are too PM me and we can arrange to meet. It would be nice to have two SWB's zigzaging their way thru the mountains down to Lake Interlaken! That is if you're not scared to drive that beautiful thing you have....
Gruen911, when is the meet, i would like to go, its a long drive, but my 71 will finally have the historic plates, so i can go for an outing, would love to hook uo with you guysup in the north I am in spain, southern.
semjon, real nice swb, looks great.
Thanks guys for all the compliments! Really appriciate it
Indeed Bummler it has very "lively handling" but that's part of the fun of driving it! :D
Bonzo, the car parked next to me in the last picture is a Golf Country.
Actually it's my moms car and also very fun to drive.

Gruen911, I'm indeed from The Netherlands. Where are you from? Would very much like to go to Interlaken but not sure yet if I can (work). I'll let you know, thanks for the offer to meet!
And I'm not to scared to drive it, that's what it made for! However, it would be my first time through the mountains

I want one. I like odd cars that you don't see often. And given that I'm a VW fan and a former owner( 3 times), that's right up my alley. Thanks for sharing.
And sorry for swaying off topic. :)
After 8 months away at paint...
Rick, with paint that nice (AND, OH IS IT NICE) we need bigger pics. The quality of the work on your car is jaw dropping.
Thanks Kenik, it was great meeting you.
Yes, I am entirely pleased with the way it came out.
The ignorance dept: When I go to upload a pic, I get an error message stating that files can only by 97.7KB. It appears everyone else has figured a way around that. Do I need to creat a web site, add the pics there, and then create a link? Is there an easier way to bypass the limit? TIA
let's see how this works
Nice clean look.
Rick! Very nice lookin ride. Well done. ;)
Below are some pictures of my 72s sunroof coupe with sportseats and real working airconditioning!
Also my 69E coupe with sportseats and all original paint except hood, engine lid and bumpers. All original engine at 79k miles.
And my 73.5 T sepia brown with one re-paint and all original interior and engine.
Also, I have been around this site for a couple of years and I wanted to say what a great resource it is and what a great place to help or get help on the many things you need to keep these cars on the road and doing what they are supposed to be doing, going quickly.

Welcome aboard Scott... beautiful cars
Tscott,
Nice cars. Is that 69E aubergine? If so, plse post more pic's of it. I love the color.
Thanks
The 69e is burgundy red. It's pretty much a true burgundy color and doesn't have the purple cast of aubergine. I've always loved the aubergine color though.
Tom:
I would not have gone to look at the 72S at G&W if you hadn't given me such a good description of the car on the phone. You warned me about how much fun it was to drive and you were right. After I bought the car I decided to drive it home to Georgia from Va. which I knew would take me through the Blue Ridge mountains, so I spent the night at the northern point of the Blue Ridge Parkway and got up early for a run down the mountains into Georgia. Just after I got started a Volvo rushed past me and I was able to use him as a rabbit to scare up any police up ahead. So I would let him get out ahead, then I would catch up and let him go ahead and so on and so on, for about 30 minutes. It was one of those perfect combinations of scenery, great roads and fun car. I wondered why I was so tired when I arrived home, but no doubt this was what the car does best.
Scott
See!!? I told you guys Sepia Brown could look great when it's done up right. :D
Nice look Scott!
I am with you Jens. After years of deriding sepia, I saw a really clean early exmplae one day on the street and realized that it was a very cool color. Looks great in the evening glow as well. I am still trying to warm up to bahama yellow though...Quote:

Much like the Porsche's :)

Mike,
That's zambezi green??? That looks more like olive.
I thought zambezi green didn't come out until after 73? Also, briefly thought about painting an early 911 zambezi green and as I remember, the color was somewher between conda green and viper green.
On the other hand, maybe it's the color adjustment on my computer. Anyone els have a pic of zambezi green they can post.
By the way, your car looks great, regardless of color!
Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, it's a wacky code that I could find with only one source. They identified it as Sambesi. These photos are a bit dark as it was dusk at the time I took them. I think the green you're referring to was used on the 914 which was a bit more yellow. If I had to describe this color, I would say it looked like an olive. Not Porsche's Olive, mind you, but the martini accoutrement :D
Best~
Chris and Mike
Those are two of the nicest cars I have seen on this board. My first encounter with a 911 was 34 years ago and the colour was sand beige which I thought suited the 911 shape so well but I just love your colours as much. There is a unique effect with those pastel type shades which you just don't see on the roads today. Have we really progressed? Silver is everywhere!
Regards
Mike
mike - now that is one of the best early colors! what kind of camera were those taken with? great depth of field!
....a few shots from last weekends 911E trip.
Canyon Road Santa Fe, New Mexico
Sugars Embudo, New Mexico....best burgers I've ever had !!!
i think green will become the new favorite color in the next poll!
i dug up this very old pic of my car taken way back when - i think in early 2005 ;).
Actually Bob green already is the favorite, then silver! ;) :D
my bad! great combo mark...i sure wouldn't mind seeing the green one again soon!
I too think this color epitomizes the 70's. How much hipper could you be in '73?
BTW Bob, the camera is an Olympus EVOLT E300 8.0 MP SLR. This is from that same evening. The other shots were existing light, this one was flashed - which REALLY shows the hood chips! And maybe the color a little truer...Thanks for the kind words.
<img src=http://pic5.picturetrail.com/VOL83/529538/4503793/112975599.jpg>
Hey Mike, great car. What is the paint color number on the door jamb?
Thanks, Jens.
The code on the tag is 231-9-2
Two pics, one of the restoration of my ´73S, and one of the final result.
Holy Cow, Thomas, nice work. These are the perfect "before & after" images to show someone contemplating such an undertaking. Congratulations!
Jim
Thank you, Jim!
Yup, the car's been here before - about 50 pages ago - but I opened the door of the shop this week and the light was so "right" that I had to shoot this. The angle of the sun here makes Polo Red look quite different. It also seems to mask all of the wear and tear on the 38 year old paint. This outa' be the opening image for the Ebay sale....after I kick the bucket. ;)
Jim
Sam,
That is some rig. I am not a red person per se, but polo red on an early car is almost as nice as irish green.
I am not a Sam person per se, but Polo Red SWB cars are often mistaken for that of (SWBSam) :DQuote:

I looked at the pic of your car again and it looks like there are no front seats in it. Or is that my imagination?
The driver's seat is too low to be seen, but if you look closely the tootsie-roll passenger (ordered with just one) headrest can be spotted. Here's a shot of the interior taken just a couple of hours ago with soon to be, Jack-O-Lanterns. Seventy something and sunny October days in The Frozen Tundra were made for early 911s....just don't get carried away on that first right-hander after the Feed Mill  pumpkin torte!
Jim
Jim. You cannot be from the frozen tundra. I know because I was just up there last week! There were no super hot swb cars up there. Your is very super nice.
You are secretly storing that sweetie somewere warm and throwing us off as to your (cars) actual whereabouts.
What is up with the s trim bumpers and the non s trim side deco?
Shawn.
Jim,
Thanks for the interior shot. Those early recaro sport seats are nice.
That garage setup is nice too.
The Frozen Tundra of Titletown actually extends south for some 95 miles. I am able to get by with the non-insulated version of a cheesehead hat. The trim is standard fare for a "Short" '68 S.Quote:

That stainless muffler shines nicely. I had a 69E a few years ago and always enjoyed the smooth ride. The 2.2E I expect is even nicer. It's only 5hp away from the power of the early 2.0S, just not as peaky. I like peaky-ness though...
1972 911S with PO for the last 20 years, under 95,000 km, no rust, Italian delivery car (great horn), COA is marked 'Italy Equipment" as Option. I am sure this includes the special horn, but the driver side mirror is also different, and is Italian, so I am not sure if it came from the factory or dealer with the mirror. :)
here's my pretty stock '71 E, PO put a 915 in it.
Ron
Nice car. My RS is originally Italian delivered and I was wondering about the horn too. What does your unit look like? Any chance of a pic. Is your mirror the larger square type not usually available until later (73?). Does your car have a hazard warning switch?
Regards
I know one thing guys, i have seen several 911 in Italy and they usually modify something, so you cant always tell if thats the way they where sent there like that.
The RS looks stunning!
Stunning !
Is that the orig. paint ! ?
John
Thanks John,Platas
Originally chartreuse but repainted black by the second owner in 1975 reportedly by the factory but I am still digging to try to confirm this (would the factory still hold records for such a job?). Not repainted since and I am 99.99% sure still all original panels including rockers. Original interior including carpet and in such good condition I am tempted to believe the 40kilom. may be original but no Italian history as yet but still digging on that too. Any Italian members here who could help?
Regards

Michael,
I live in Adelaide, if you need a tour guide or free for drink I'm happy to oblige.

Did you say "free drinks" or "free for drinks"? :D Marco, It'll be last minute notices I'm sure. Thanks for the offer. This is a work trip for me and my customer is calling the shots. I am hoping to meet some of you guys or gals (to either I'm happily married though :D ). I'm also looking to travel back to the US with SWB RHD ARMRESTS in my suitcase. That's a HUGE hint to anyone Down Under.
Michael,
I'd be pleased to shout you a drink as your all the way from the other side of the globe. Good luck in finding those armrests, were a little thin on early parts out here. You should have mild weather out here, hope you enjoy yourself even though your working.
Regards Marco
Right On! Is it fly season yet? I heard one area I'm going to the flies get pretty bad in the spring.
Fly season just starting, in the more moderate climates we get the odd big blow-fly, as we get into summer the flies are smaller but more numerous. Also watch out for spiders & snakes, a couple of weeks ago I was gardening and had no gloves on ... came across a Red Back (same family as your Black Widow, but not as feared). Its something you learn to live with.
Regards Marco
Last time I was in OZ I was working at a sight in Uralla near Armidale NSW. Damn near stepped on a red belly black snake. Later that evening I did some internet research on it and nearly tossed cookies! What is it with you guys and having nearly all the most poisonous everything alive down there? :D

Even with standard gears and some tuning/changes still to come, it is very impressive - same power and torque curves as my old US 3.2L to 6 grand, but then watch out..
Once I get gears and learn how to drive it, it will be a bullet. :D
And with Randy behind the wheel the whole world better watch out..... :eek:Quote:

Attached is a picture of the awful mirror on my car - it was pointed put to me it has Italian writing on it - doubt it is factory - but I think I am stuck with it, as I would have to repaint the entire door if I removed it and put on the right mirror and not ready to do that yet.:(
Will send the picture of the
horn this weekend.
Anybody have an idea what 'Italy Equipment' actually includes when it shows on a COA?
Ron
Thanks for reply. My RS has the larger chrome square mirror which I thought was incorrect until someone told me the smaller square mirror and round durant types were not legal in Italy at the time. There is no hazard switch which I also thought was wrong but I know of at least two other 73 (non RS) Italian cars with hazard switch delete. I always thought my horns were aftermarket but now I wonder if the original type did not conform to Italian law. My car is so original in all other respects I think these items(and possibly others I havn't discovered yet) might be 'correct'. Anyone know anything?
Regards
Mike
Just acquired a "new to me" car. Probably the best car I've ever owned....72S, 72,000 original miles, full leather interior with sport seats, sunroof, horn grill lights, rear "push" bar, one bare metal $$$ respray, all records since new, limited slip, etc. also included was the original window sticker ($10,085). Currently doesn't have the horn grill lights or rear push bar mounted, but that will happen shortly. Thanks to Tom and Howard!!!
Beautiful Eric...
Looks like #334 ... or actually in '72 it was #324
Congrats......
Are you going to be in Sydney at all on this whirlwind trip?
Send me a pm if you can?
Justin Reed
Eric, that car is stunning, CONGRATULATIONS.
Please post more pictures, lots of them, when you can.
Great car !!!!
What does the Lic. plate signify?
Jeez Louis...that's nice Eric!!!
Wow, is that a nice looking car! I have the correct shifter from my '72 if you want it. It will need a little TLC to bring it up to snuff, but I will give it to you for the cost of shipping as long as you use it for your car and don't sell it or trade it away.
Sharp eyes....one of the previous owners is Chris Powell, a fantastic mechanic up here in Seattle, and I've used him several times. He made the change (I've got the original one in a box of stuff with the car), but I haven't asked him why he made the change.Quote:

Thanks
Asking price for the car was $35,000, which is what I gladly paid. I know this was "under market" condering what I know about the market, and from comments from other friends who are also very knowledgable about the market. The seller received 24 calls the first day the car was listed. I consider myself very lucky to be the one who got it, and I won't sell it, even though I know I could get much more for it....this kind of car rarely becomes available.
The only reason to change it out, IMO, is to put the OEM short shift kit in, which is what I did to mine (and also the Seine Systems gate shift kit).
Really surprised that the seller did not know the market for the car.
Cripes, Erik, where the hell do you find these cars?
I am as well..the seller is an Early S Registry member, but I don't know how often he frequents here. He said that he considers the car an excellent driver, and was influenced by Bruce Andersons values (thanks Bruce!).Quote:

That's what I get for not checking the PCA classifieds every day! ;) Not that I would have been able to buy another car without expecting divorce papers to be filed. Tammy must have the patience of Mother Teresa. :D Perhaps one day Laura will, too.
I will most certainly have to stop by. You around this weekend?
With all of the 67 911's in your garage already, I always assumed you were a diehard SWB guy. Who'd a thunk it?
By the way, what ever happened to the german guy who was going to renege on the Cibie rally lights you won on EBay Germany? If I recall correctly, they were already painted the same color as the 72S....
P.S. Welcome to the wonderfull world of early 911 sunroofs!!!
BTW, Maybe you need to sell one of those SWB soft window targa Esses to make room... :D
Congrats again on a great purchase. That color is one of my faves; if the Targa S has been a hardtop, I'd have been the buyer. :)
Kenik,
I'm sort of around on Saturday, I have family commitments for half the day Saturday. Sunday is a cub scout hike with Nik. I'm in town all next week. Currently working from home today... Randy is stopping by to look at the car at 2:00.
SWB's rule!...of course who wouldn't have bought this car though? This is actually my second S/R, I have a 73S S/R "driver" as well.
Mike, as you might know my Italian spec '73 2.4S has 'hazard' delete. Are you going to fit Italian spec front indicator lenses like the ones fitted to my carQuote:

Mike,
Here is a pic of the Italian equipment horns. Seems they were red once. :)
I am going to try to clean them off this weekend. They are located in front of the drivers side front wheel. Not inside the front trunk where I expected to find them.
I do have a hazard switch inside for hazard flasher lights.
Ron
Thanks for horn pic. I think yours are correct and as I suspected mine may not be. Still think your mirror may not be correct but not sure.
James
Your car was one of the ones I was quoting when I said I knew of 2 Italian cars without hazards. Would love to fit Italian lenses but you beat me to Andy's pair!! Still think your car looks stunning and now I know it goes like a train (or is that a tank!!). Hope to see you and the guys soon.
Regards
Mike

Glad you ended up with it (and not someone interested in an instant 20% or more profit). Enjoy! :)
When I posted a pic of this car in the 'cool license plate' thread, I was asked for more images to be posted.
I just recvd some from a friend who also took a lot of photos of the car during our TYP901 nationals weekend earlier this month.
The great thing about this car is its originality, it spaint, its faded , worn carpet, tarnised badges on teh dash from many events its attended and competed in, etc.
The owner is also not scared to drive it hard and I was amazed at how this little 2.0L car went when we found some fast open roads.
So enjoy the pics. will see if we can get more of the interior (sorry about the quality of the one posted).
One more pic.
Def a beuty :) its nice to know such cars are stil around and that its owners drive them and hard the way they were ment too. Thanks for the pics.
Sorry, should have mentioned its 1963 model. One of the few early ones left.
I believe its one of the very first original RHD ones as well.
Here is my '70 911S Targa unrestored with 49k original miles with documentation back to original sales receipt... SWEET!
Eric,
Congradulations on your 72S. What a great buy! and story behind it! Absolutely beautiful! BTW, have the sport seats been recovered? It kinda looks as if it had been recovered
Craig,
Beautiful green 911S Targa! Stunning!

Craig, I have a 71E targa same color 43K miles, but it has been repainted (damn...), yours looks great!!!
Eric
David, Play "Misty" for me...
By the way, Tom, thanks for thinking of me when that 72S s/roofus coupus came up. Last time you get a MIG helmet from me....
man ...so many really nice cars here !!
Someday I'll have a nice S worthy of this group.
Sticking with the current green theme here are a few recent shots of
my E
a few more...
My '75 Euro-spec... Not an early car, but an early motor!
Great shots Chris...
Good looking car TIM...:)
I will take an E like it any time, its so nice, i already have a small file of pics on this car, love the color.
Eric, nice car.The reason the previous owner change shifters is because the 1973 shifter is superior to the 1972 shifter. The 73 shifter is easier to shift and is stronger. Its more likely to miss a shift with the 72 than the 73.If I were you I would just leave it as is ,but keep the 72 shifter in its box in case you ever sell the car. Alot of 72 owners have made this upgrade. If you don't think that the 73 shifter is stronger, well there is a reason that the shift boot is much larger.
Hi Tim,
Your car looks a lot like Rob W.'s former '75 Carrera 2.7. Driving his Carrera back in 2002 really got me started down the path of '911 maddness'. Some good memories there.:)
Fry,
You've got good eyes. The green '75 is indeed the ex-Wolford car. She now lives in Vermont and still turns heads wherever she goes. If the early car people don't mind I will post some better pictures soon.
Tim
One way is to have as many as possible, in shape and color. I must admit that my cars are the most sorry looking omong the posted but I like them and they serve a purpose for me. And, by showing my cars a can let others shine ;-).
Last year I bought this - 72 S with my mind set to build a RS LWT replica. The chassi "could" have ended up as one of the prototyps #1423. My friend DrRSR of Los Gatos told me rather bluntly that he thought I was a fool "destroying" a Gulf Orange S.
This is what it looked like:
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...SRestoring.jpg
DrRSR told me that we had to find another car to rebuild. So he found this:
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...mmedskyllt.jpg
It was taken from the Bay Area this summer. This turned out so nice it has become my driver. It has nice sun taned paint. Was rebuilt during the 90:s. Strong and fun to drive.
So, what to do?
Last week I found this project. With a strong memory of the other -73 E/2.8 RSR seen on these pages I bought it. This will be my Racer. When all car are ready I will have one for every mood. A "garage queen", a car for driving to work and a weekend warrior. Alas, I have to find a big enough garage....
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...RSRproject.jpg
BTW, some cars leave a trail. A friend mailed my a photo of my S, from 1985!
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...st911kopia.jpg
My history goes like this, -67 S, -73 S, 968 CS/M30 (race), -72 S, -72 T and the current set. I must have a forgiving wife.....
I'm in the middle of cleaning and planning this 911 "sports purpose" 911T that I just (re) acquired a few weeks ago. I owned this car for four years in the early '90's, and just bought it back from the "caretaker" that I sold it to in 1995. It's going to be very original cosmetically (at least period original) but upgraded mechanically.
As you can tell, I've got a number of retro-fits to do, ie mirror, engine grille, horn grilles etc. Good news is the car came equipped with the right (for me) extras - sunroof, factory sport seats, 80% LSD, H1's, 380mm wheel, driving and fog lights, and f/r sway bars - almost all factory items.
Hopefully seeing the car will inspire some of you to go in your basements and help me locate all the original parts I need - engine grille, silver lens covers, chrome fog/horn grilles, mirror and 901 shift knob.
Thanks (hopefully the pictures worked)
That is a good-looking ride brother................

rtincher, i think i have a good shift knob, original.
