I understood these things came from an old Porsche dealer who put all these things away 30+ years ago and they remained untouched since.
It sounds a bit surreal but I think that's what happened and the reason why the condition is so pristine.
I only spoke to the vendor on the phone, Eric who has actually met him can probably tell us the correct story.
The guy who has all the stuff happened onto it from an old friend of the family. It was a Porsche/Audi/VW salesman from the Seattle area who just stashed a whole bunch of salemans material. His name in mentioned in one of the pieces that Thomas bought, believe that it's Frank Rosengreen, and the dealership is Autohaus.
There are multiples of a few items, but the nicest items were the ones that Thomas bought, and there was also a 1970 Swatch book that was also sold as well. He still does have a 1968 color and swatch book, but two of the colors are bad in it, and the coupe transparency is missing, it's still pretty nice though. He will sell that one for $400.

That's pretty much it from my memory.
I have pretty much all of these items already, bought a couple of better versions of ones I already have.
The nice thing is that these items are quite literally NOS, and in near perfect shape with the exception of a couple of pieces.
Due to Thomas and myself, they have been "priced" for his ability to sell them at market rates. But the brochures will be very nice pieces, not grungy ones from sitting in a drawer or moldy box.

Options book from the 80s. Complete just in need of a good cleaning.
I Picked this up at the Hershey swap last week. It is a Dealership flat-rate book from 1969 which instructed the service department how much time a certain process would typically take. Very cool!
