...Viper Green and my "Brand New" extra wide steel wheels..in bright yellow...Do I hear John Deere?...
Tor,
Very nice indeed! I am very jealous of the yellow 964 RS, the color coded wheels look great. Did you add a Techart spoiler on the trailing edge of the retractible spoiler?
Seems you have the best of both worlds, a very nice short wheel base early S and a Carrera RS for the track.
Brian,
yes it`s a TechArt spoiler and it came with the car. I don`t like it really, so it will maybe go off sometime.
I haven`t done anything to the car except services, I bought it like that. I`m very pleased with my choice of 911`s :)
In the future the 67 will also be seen @ Nurburgring like the RS.
Eade, so when is your first track day with the RSR?
Probably the only track it will see for awhile is the nearest interstate. Then who knows  :D ;)Quote:

I'm sure one of the left coasters (Jack Olsen????????) would gladly help you with that if you're camcorder challenged.
Paul,Tom Woodford and I have both been taking quite a few shots of the 2 year ordeal. I will put a folder of all of these together, which I will bring to events. We would like to share anything that went into building this car with all of you, no secrets here, just a lot of insane, slow, hard work. Much of the time spent was with Tom having to fabricate parts to make them all work together. I hate to use the word never, but I do not think I will do something like this again. Restoring a car completely is hard enough, but when you change so many things to make it an RSR, it makes it just that much harder. Right now there is about 800 hours put into this project, and it has not even started yet!!
Ha...the scope of this project is waaaaaaaay beyond mere mortals. Don't kid yourself for a moment. We all know what's going on there and the degree of difficulty involved.
I just think it would be gratifying to have a mounted digital camcorder in use to 'film' the maiden voyage on a dvd as well as the still shots. Here's to a successful startup and cruise Eade. You guys have earned it the hard way.
Bumpers, (fb and stock), rear valence, sunroof, engine covers (std and duck) already done and cluttering up one garage bay. Will post more as we get farther along.
