Interesting, I'll have a closer look at mine, however not much time coming weeks.

My observation on heater tubes and brackets. It appears 303125 has heater tube under torsion tube with bracket. It appears 303891 has heater tube under torsion tube no bracket.
Hi Sanders, that is then a change that is possibly better positioned in the thread on early 1966 MY changes.

One item of which we do not know yet whether it is a change during MY65 or into MY66 is the appearance of a steering house rubber bracket. See also

DEEMAN commented: Early cars did not use the shroud. Look at the steering rack casting and it will tell you whether it may have had a shroud or not. Early racks had no shoulder for provision of a shroud. My Sept 65 302136 (MY66) RHD car did not - but it was cast in 52/64. Whereas a November '65 LHD 912 (MY66) rack I have, cast 35/65, does.
It all depends on the casting.
My cars Mar and May have no shoulder on the steering house for mounting the rubber, so probably changed later.
64 vs later steering rack
#301111 does not have the steering boot.

Hey Jeff, welcome here! Txs for adding this. I'd specifically be interested in whether your car still has high rimmed backseats. This has changed after 1835 or so, but want to pinpoint more precisely.
Cheers, Jacques
Hi Jacques @pss there is no rim at all, assuming you are referring to the rear seat bottom. Carpets were changed at one time and not sure if it was altered at that time. The pads are original upholstery with horse hair backing but no rim.
