Notes: "
I am offering for sale my 1969 911 T targa with the soft window option. The vehicle is in running condition, but could use some TLC and I dont have time. I ordered the COA for the car and it is numbers matching. The car was repainted and is about a 10 ft job. It shines very nice but has some chips around the door and some bubbling on the rear bumper, I have tried to show them in the pictures. The rear window is very good considering the age and is still very easy to see through. The targa top is in great condition on the exterior but could use a new liner on the inside. I was in the process of installing new carpets (I will include carpet kit) but decided to stop so that I could show the condition of the floor, it was repaired at one time but looks to be a nice job. There is no rust in the front pan as well as the front and rear suspension points. I have a set of black period correct seats with headrests that will be going with the car as well. I removed the CD player that was in the car in hopes of replacing it with the correct factory unit, but I never got around to it. All guages work except the clock, the lights work and wipers. The map pockets are sagging and could use some attention. Im sure the miles are not actual, but I cant be sure as I have no documentation. I have a custom cover that is included in the auction as well. This should be a good oportunity to pick up a pretty rare car at a reasonable price. This was the first year that the soft window was an option and very few cars still exist in the states. I have seen the rear window and the two tensioner handles sell for $1500. This car is the real deal."

Notes: "1969 Porsche 911T Targa VIN# 119110371 Black/Black. Very nice condition overall with 117,541 original miles. This is an older restoration that still shows great. It's an awesome car and very fast. It's also documented 2 owner car that been very well cared for it's entire life. I bought the car from a client who owned it over 25 years. He purchased it at a Porsche Dealership on 9/22/79. I have the original Maintenence record book for both owners. Plus I have all the receipts for the major mechanical work done by the second owner. The maintainence book is partial stamped and serviced from the first owner. Let me descibe some of the restoration work done. The engine was rebuilt by a Porsche specialist on 6/29/91, when the car had 97,770 miles. It was rebuilt to 2.7ltr RS specs including sport cams, new timing chains, rails & guides, 2.7 RS pistons pistons & cylinders, rebuilt & Jetted Carbs, new main & rod bearings and more..... This was done about 20,000 miles ago and it's still fast an tight. In fact, it's the fastest older 911 I've ever driven. It drives runs better than new. It's amazing!!! Plus the clutch and first gear synchro were replaced at that time too. again, the rebuild is 15 years old with 20,000 miles and still feels fresh. The cars been garage kept and babied. The Interior is largely original and well kept. It's not perfect but it's in good condition The exterior was redone to Carrera Specs with new Carrera Fenders and rear Quarters from Porsche, not after market!!! The car was repainted and refinished to a very high standard. I was told that all parts used were original Porsche parts from Germany except for the rear Carrera RS spoiler which was aftermarket. The second owner spent a small fortune on servicing and restoring the car. You won't be disappointed. The car also looks great and like an RS with a Targa top. It's a nice ride. The paint still shows excellent, the targa top was refinished plus the car has really cool, expensive upgrades like European H1 headlights that cost $600 20 years ago."

Notes: "This is a 1969 911T Porsche. It has a soft top with Targa, which is a rare find.
This car was parked about two years ago, but previous to that time ran well. The car has had the gas tank reconditioned with a lifetime warranty, new clutch, new cooling kit and the carburetors have been rebuilt. This car has a 6 cylinder with a five speed transmission. All cylinders were tested and the compression was low on just one, but within tolerance. The odometer is not funtional, however the RPM gauge is. The mileage is an approximate. I have been told by a Porsche mechanic that this was the first soft top he had seen and was surprised by the condition of the car. The soft top is in need of repair. The plastic window is all intact, but the zipper is a little rough. There are a few rust points under the driver’s side door (shown in the pictures) and a couple small holes in the rear floor board. To the best of my knowledge this car is original other than the red paint. According to the paint number it was originally a blue color.
The car needs restoration work, but has allot of great potential. Overall, this is a good deal for a car the can be restored.
Note: This is a 911T. The VIN is 119110504. We have transfer papers and maintenace paper work back to 1972 for the car ."

Notes: "This is a very solid T coupe with an S engine#6390440.The car has had many billable man hours to strip the car to prepare for paint.Because it is just the tub one can view the rust prone areas and see how very solid this car is,any rust colored areas you view in the pictures are just that-rust colored, integrity of sheet metal is there.Seams are solid. The car is complete!I purchased and picked up the car from the shop that stripped it so it has not been moved from spot to spot. This is a tremendous opportunity to pick up a car that has already been taken down to prepare for paint.I believe my asking price is what an S engine is worth alone."

Notes: "1 Owner since New (1970) to July 2007.- Receipts and documentation included (over 100 pages)
Incredible find! this is a car that was under the same owner since New until July 2007. I bought it from the original owner. Has always been a California car, solid underbody and frame. Has an older, but very high quality paint job that shines very good. The photos do not do it justice.
Car has the original engine/transmission, I do not know the mileage since the odometer is not working. But the speedometer, tach and all other gauges do. Engine pulls very strong but has a small oil leak. The car starts right up and the transmission shifts properly. The brakes are strong and the car travels easily on the freeway. Does not pull to any side, etc.Upholstery is in great shape, only the drivers side map pocket is not installed, but is included with the car.
This car comes with all the records since 1973 to 2007! However, The original owner could not locate the previous years (1970-73) service and maintenance records. Nonetheless it is becoming increasingly difficult to find an original California Blue Plate car which has never left the state with this much documentation (34 years) and has been under the same roof for over 37 years!
Targa top is in very good condition, included also is the original owners manual. In addition, car comes with the original factory radio (uninstalled, a 80s vintage Pioneer cassette unit is in place), car cover, drivers side door pocket that has not been installed. The rear speaker console is an aftermarket unit that sits on top of the rear seats and can be removed without causing any damage to the upholstery. RH fog light lens is cracked. Car has very good seals all around and the windows roll up and down as they should. The doors close perfectly.
It is a solid car that has been cared for properly since new. A lot of older 911 as they depreciated thru the years fell into the hands of owners who did not understand or could afford to take care of these very special cars. In this case, the original owner, who could afford a new 911, is a person who took proper care of it during all these decades.
This very meticulous owner even provided a plastic bag that had all the original stickers that are in the engine compartment, as they fell off thru the years!
A copy of all the maintenance/records since 1973 can faxed for review to prospective buyers (over 100 pages)."

Notes: "Well I guess it's time to part with my baby, purchased the car 3 years ago, fixed quite a few things and had full intentions of never parting with this car. I absolutely love this car but I lost my job and I cannot afford to keep her. I put new carpets in the trunk, and a shock stiffener (aluminum bar between shock towers), all new bushings in the shift linkage and short shift kit, new headliner (needs to be installed), new corbeau seats and tracks, 5 point harness' and harness bar, new dash cap (dash had 2 big cracks), new bursch headers and glasspak exhaust (no heat) heater tubes were replaced with shut off plates, new truck and decklid shocks, recent tuneup, tires are 90%, wheels were painted with the right paint (trim black) as with most or the trim, new ducktail decklid (fiberglass), back half of the car has been repainted from the B pillar back, I didn't like checking around the rear window and the decklid needed to be painted anyway (I wanted to make an RS clone) so I got talked into getting the whole back half of the car painted and it matche's perfectly. The engine burns a little oil but it still has loads of power, 2.4 litre MFI."
