Notes: "Hello were listings a 1971 911 Targa for Parts or Restoration. It has a 5spd Transmission and a 2.7L motor in it, not running, ENGINE TURNS. Very solid floors and under section. Some rust in the front pan. Car remarkably solid. Fuchs. Front HOOD and FENDERS only has surface rust! The pictures look make it look much worse and it is not. Nothing is rusted through at all it just looks that way. Take a look at the pictures which shows everything. Door is damaged but can include a replacement if you would like to buy separate. No keys."

Notes: "1971 Porsche 911T with an RS look. Factory A/C. No engine or trans. The rear flares are steel. I have all the pieces for the front strut bar. It has a bolt-in roll cage, 5-point racing harness, Personal Fittipaldi steering wheel and Recaro drivers seat. The left fender has rust in the headlight bucket and behind the wheel opening. The right fender has rust behind the wheel opening. Both rockers need to be replaced. New rockers are included! The floor and the rest of the car appear to be solid. The wheels are in nice shape and I have all the center caps.

The previous owner hit a tree in the front and the car was considered totaled. I have a salvage title for it. I replaced the front suspension pan with a new one and repaired the nose panel. I installed a new hood and a used right fender. The rockers still need to be installed.

I'd like to finish this car but I no longer have the space or time. I have owned it since 2002 and it has been garage kept except for a few months. This would be a great winter project! The last few pictures were taken when I bought the car prior to doing any work.

The right door jam is rusted where the door latches. I have a new panel to replace it and it is included with the car. The suspension mounting points, lower windshield, inner rockers and doors are solid as far as I can tell."

Notes: "This is a 1973 911T MFI coupe, original paint. matching #’s. VIN# 9113100678, engine#6131009. The car is original paint, except for the area mentioned later in the lower door post. 67,000 original miles. Engine was rebuilt 2,000 miles ago. Engine is strong. leaks no oil. engine is dry underneath. interior is all original except for the recovered front seats and the radio. Floors are rock solid. battery boxes solid. 911S optioned front sway bars. Tires are ancient. Car does have rust. The rust is in the lower front left corner next to the door, both lower door posts, and lower drivers door, and upper hood. The previous owner owned the car since 1984. He had the driver's side lower door post repaired poorly. after the repair work they screwed on the old vin sticker on top of the repaired area! I have included pics of all of this. Also since the repair was made, the gapping in the little area where the door shuts is bad, but its just that little corner. The rest of the door gapping is perfect. The front hood spring latch is not connected because of rust in upper hood, so the hood shuts with the safety latch only. That's also the reason why the hood is a little popped in the pics. Gapping on car is perfect. Doors shut perfect. A few weeks ago I rebuilt the pedal box. I put all new brass bushings in the pedal assembly. I also installed a brand new ATE master brake cylinder. Also put new shifter coupler bushings. Original jack and spare included. Overall car runs great. great power for a 911T. There aren’t many unmolested early 911s out there! Just a good original driver that needs some rust issues taken care of. Free and clear title."

Body, As you can see from the pictures the body is very solid. I cut out any areas that had rust. New front suspension pan installed in 1995. I think both front fenders should be replaced due to rust at bottom of fenders. There is some rust on the right side near the torsion tube. Left side is very solid. I threw out the right front fender but have the headlight and all trim. The original color was Ontario Orange. The car has been stored in a garage since 1997.
Transmission, Shifted and performed like new. I have reciepts for the rebuild that was done at about 76k, 1st and 2nd gear syncro's replaced and new gasket seals. I have a glove box full of receipts. See picture's
Engine, Ran strong before dissambly, smoked a little at startup, had good compression except for # 3 and # 5 which was 90Lb. Heads have been rebuilt with new guides and springs and 3 angle valve job. Weber 40 IDA carbs and were installed at 75K and ran strong and flawless. The motor could be reassembled with new main bearings and rings and would run great. Most parts have been cleaned and sprayed with a rust preventative. SSI excangers were inatalled at 75K.
Interior, Original carpets in very good condition, one floor mat has a small hole due to a mouse, carpets were in poor condition on door sill. Beautifull older Nardi steering wheel, door panels good, original door pockets, original head liner with some stains in the back. Rear seats very nice. The front seats are showing ther age, poor support and one has a hole in the seat bottom. R. inner door latch broken. small crack in dash near clock. All gauges worked including clock
New Parts,Acelleratoor link,2- shift bushing kits, 2axle boots,clutch clevis pin, tension gaurds,cam housing gskt,bell crank bushing,complete engine gskt set,short shift kit,Crane coil, 4- 195/65/14 Continental Super contact tires.
History: I have extensive history on this vehicle. It was delivered on 12/02/70 in Huntington Station N.Y. In 08/75 it was regestered in Lake Havasu City AZ. In 08/76 Ventura CA. The car spent some time in Michigan before it ended up back in N.Y. in the Syracuse Area. I have the original owners manaul and maintenance record booklet.
This is a very nice original car with nice upgrades and options for restoration. Much better shape than some of the early 911's I have seen lately on Ebay."

Notes: "Car has been stored (mostly in garage) for 20 years. Last started about 3 years ago. When stored, there was an oil leak onto heat exchanger, causing cloud of smoke. Had two new stainless heat exchangers, so they were good smoke makers. Condition of car is now completely unknown, except that all the parts are there. I think every thing is original except the Blaupunkt radio which is a replacement. There is a fair amount of rust (mostly hidden) around windows, but nothing thru the pans etc. This is the last of the mechanical fuel injection 911's. I'll include a fuel injection sevice book along with several other books. Odometer reading is as shown, but I think owner before 1984 had changed the odometer."
