Hello EARLY911ZOO
The switch kill on the grill was the normal position for the RSR.
I can prove… :p

Cleaned and reinstalled my MFI thermostat. While being extra cautious not to remove the bi-metalic disks from the rod, I of course managed to pick up the rod from the end with the circlip... thus dumping all 50 disks and 2 spacers into the wash basin.
Fortunately, my son's daycare is about a half mile from Gus Pfister. He was able to verify that I got the thing back together correctly.
I carry on with Trudi's upgrading!
You can see the jerrycan and the 2 additionals fuel pumps
The new RSR «tulipé» steeringwheel with a true hockeypuck
The sledge to protect the tank

I drove it...hard as hell. Pretty amazing for a car on 165 tires, Solex carbs and no sway bars. The giant killer has been there since day one people.
The «110 litres» tank is on his place but the strap should be fixed.
A part I like: the RSR ignition unit. I'm not sure I'm using the right words for all the parts and works, forgive me if it's not the case…
Trudi should be ready soon, maybe next week. My mechanic will test her for about 500 km and do all the adjustments. Her first challenge will be the famous «Coupe des Alpes», a tourist rally which crosses the french alps in three wonderful days, using small and lovely roads. A rally with 200 classic cars drived fast. Sometimes very fast… Miam!

Jack, impressive progress on the car. That 12 point RSR distributor is HUGE.
