Are the rear seat backs pressed or formed of a thickish card board?
How would you descibe the covering?
I have one sans covering - all hollow on the back.
I would guess the rear seats are covered in a velour type material. I took most of the shots by holding the camera through an open window and didn't see the seats folded down or get into the car.
Great photos Jeff!
Can anyone provide any detail on the apparent change in the rear flares on the Hamilton T/R from the more "rounded" ones in the first period picture (see below), and which seem to be like the ones on my "Out Of Africa" car, to what look more like distinct "angular flares" in another period picture (sorry don't know when or where) and the recent photos posted by Jeff?
I am pretty sure it is not just an issue of viewing from a different angle?

Hugh - Thanks for that
To me then it looks like the arches/flares were widened for 1970 or is it my eyes?
Do you think it would have been running deep 6" on the rear first, going to 7r in 1970 OR might they be 7r in '68/'69 and something wider in 1970?
Having said that, this is going to run this into the ST debate over wheel size/date of availability which I suppose is all part of the development story.
From a personal point of view what I am really trying to arrive at is the likely wheel set up front and rear to go with the arches as they are now (which appear to be just like the Hamilton car in 1970) and an area where I would definitely appreciate some guidance as to what would have been available/likely around this date!
