These were the photos offered to me by a prospective buyer. I think an Asterisk or notation should have been available if they were changing it out. Hard to "un-ring" a bell.

6603 is GULF Blue in English, if you translate Gulf in regards to geography from English to German it would be GOLF. I have factory advertizing brochures that back these descriptions up. Another way to look at that is what the golf world is universally blue?
I think the early GULF blue color#6603 was in regards to the Gulf of Mexico or something as such, just like ADRIATIC Blue was in reference to another body of water.
By the early 70s the GULF Blue that most people recognize was Gulf Oil Co color as they sponsored Porsche racing by that point.
Mixing paint is a major PITA these days!
