Very nice photo Heinz. Do you know the year it was taken?
Tom,
Looks like the A/C was dealer installed according to the paper work.
Brian,
It's a little weird; paperwork indicates it's dealer installed but that's definitely a fac Behr system.
Dealer A/C would have been DPD or VPC.
I photographed this car in detail and spent a lot of hours around it. The AC is factory. All the signs are there. The front condenser, intake blower and over-sprayed factory ducting. The washer bottle is moved to the correct position and the "rare" cap is in the hole where it would normally reside. The under-hood carpet is modified for the bottle as well.
This isn't the 1st car that has been optioned the same I've seen without "AC" spelled out on the Monroney Decal.
Will post my photos.
Tom
When I worked at the Porsche dealer in Dallas there one instance I can remember that a Behr system was installed at the dealer, but not to the level of detail done on the assembly line.
Interesting to follow, thank you
Some photos of the washer bottle relocation and plug in the latch panel.
Yep that's how it was on my 72 T with factory air.
Thank you Tom, interesting, thanks for showing.
Se you in Amelia on the parking place?
A car that sold for $25,000 a LONG time ago.
