1956 AC ACE Bristol. The only one produced in black with a white interior. Gassman Automotive restored it for a customer 9 years ago and now it is going to a new home.
Mike quipped: "I can see Carol Shelby with a yard stick measuring the front end and saying": "We can get it in there".:D
This past Friday I took a ride in one of the best Triumph TR6's I've ever experienced. Totally sorted with a Richard Good dual master cylinder setup that makes the car stop like dropping an arresting hook. Sporting a slightly warmed over engine at around 10.3:1 with a nice cam and 3 Webers rounded it out. The chassis was also totally sorted offering great handling.
Rode top down in the low 50's. 4 pipe exhaust needs be heard! Just plain fun and smile per dollar beats out most other cars.
The car below isn't it but is a just completed RHD TR6 with Lucas Injection from the TR5. You can still buy the entire system remanufactured and ready to go. The yellow/black hoses are correct and rare.
My "deck" of cars" might need to get shuffled. ;)
1960's discotheque..
Jerry Walsh and Healey 3000, 'Purple Onion' endorsement in the Village. Also known for 'Racer Walsh' parts. Pipes / wheel / tire combination, aren't something you find on a street car :

If I wasn't driving my old 911 I'd be driving one of these ... :) ... Or a hot rod Elan ... ;)

If you want a hot rod Elan project, I'd sell you my '66 coupe cheap. I've recently realized I'll never finish it.Attachment 635817
Henry Catchpole is a favorite. He's tested some interesting cars. He and Chris Harris are great to watch. I'm still marveling over the 11,000 RPM Tuthill rig.
Speaking of Lotus. This is slightly off in geography (across the channel) but I got a ride in this. A street legal Go-Kart. Lotus put it on the shelf but
it's still a hoot. You'll never see yourself coming because there aren't many here in the US. Renault Spider.
Recently picked up a “TR6” at a price I couldn’t refuse in Oregon BRG , factory hardtop last year ‘76 , side stripes rust challenged driver side floor pan ..
Had five back in college and aquired a Lucas injection set up from a cousin who did a year in Oxford and his professor was the TR registry pres , one way to secure rare bits !
