Type 901/xx Engine Build #'s

The following was collected today from a neighbor's block. Hope it's helpfull.

I found these...

Note a typo...The build # on the '65 N is 3145 not 17028 as listed in the table.

My numbers from '69 E, build date autumn '68:

901/09 19803
S/N: 6290803

I agree with these statements, but add that the 914/6 2.0 engines do not have the build #'s either.

Great. That is an early engine. Since it is in parts, can you find the case "pairing numbers" on each half of the block? That would be very interesting.

Glenn, pictures of 901/14 - 3280620 - 12050 - 500 would be useful to get a nice clear shot of the pairing number, and the serial # location on this very late AL case.
