Dear all,
Currently in the process of a slight refresh of -72 ST prototype #0013 and need to settle a small detail:
Did the rear fibreglass bumper use steel, aluminium or glassfibre brackets ?
(Glassfibre rear bumper was not used on the -72 ST, I know...)
Any help appreciated !

Does anyone know where original aluminum parts are for sale like hoods, fenders, etc?
Good question... I know the factory ST front bumper (fiberglass) used aluminum brackets on the outside ends. I've seen steel brackets (modified) for the one piece, factory 73 (M-471, and M-491) RS, RSR fiberglass rear bumpers. And I've seen after market 73 RS and RSR rear bumpers use fiberglass brackets. The factory R rear bumper used fiberglass rear brackets. For alloy parts, try Restoration Design...

It was bought by the owner 39 years ago and it is tracked since 1995. Beautiful car, even if a little modified (side mirrors, rims, rear fenders front spoiler, brakes, bucket seats and 3.2 engine, to name a few modifications).
But it is gorgeous and most importantly, well and frequently driven.
