Yeah-yeah --- and feelin' a liiiiitle bad about it, now/too. Looks like the organizers really nailed the venue part, this time --- which helps the show + attract/grow an audience . . .
Last show I went to (2 years, back) was kindova zoo + put me off --- lotsa cars but not very well laid out . . . + for that kinda dosh I expected more POC- + ESR-types . . .
. . . and fewer hipsters + naff Hot Rods (w/ hoonigan stickers?)
Than/again, this time around --- 4500 tix @$38/per = $171k? . . .
. . . so I'm guessing this show 'll be back
I also really have to admire the way The Organizers have grown this event ---- = HUGE buzz, seems. Virtually no advertising --- car entries seem to 've sold-out almost clandestinely . . . and/yet they still packed the place . . . = very under-ground kinda vibe
Makes just knowing about it feel . . . special
..
jimxyz,
I was parked right behind you . . . :)

3,746 miles down, and up, the west coast of the good ‘ol USA in a '67 unrestored 911S SWT -- from Seattle to Palm Springs and back...
‘Buzz’ made it the whole way with no complaints — and the drive included a lot of spirited driving up and down some unbelievably windy and tricky roads, including miles and miles along Mulholland Drive and Angela’s Crest in the hills around LA, to amazing backroads of Sonoma, Oregon, and Washington State.
Here’s a 4 minute video I made of the trip...
