Hey Chris, 3 great cars there! The 3rd of course being the FJ62 in the driveway. Man, I really miss mine, best thing Toyota ever made.
Haaa! I wondered if anyone would notice the FJ62 lurking in the
driveway. Its a classic bullit-proof machine, will run forever.
Much like the Porsche's :)
My brother has an FJ for sale if anyone is interested.... PM ME

Took the 70E up to Silverton, CO. About an hour drive north of Durango,
Great road with lots of twisties & some open straight-aways. Car ran
great & as expected was a blast to drive.
Here are some shots on top of Molas Pass elev. 10,880 ft.
Thats a great looking car

Mike,
That's zambezi green??? That looks more like olive.
I thought zambezi green didn't come out until after 73? Also, briefly thought about painting an early 911 zambezi green and as I remember, the color was somewher between conda green and viper green.
On the other hand, maybe it's the color adjustment on my computer. Anyone els have a pic of zambezi green they can post.
By the way, your car looks great, regardless of color!
Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, it's a wacky code that I could find with only one source. They identified it as Sambesi. These photos are a bit dark as it was dusk at the time I took them. I think the green you're referring to was used on the 914 which was a bit more yellow. If I had to describe this color, I would say it looked like an olive. Not Porsche's Olive, mind you, but the martini accoutrement :D
Best~
