Holy Cow, Thomas, nice work. These are the perfect "before & after" images to show someone contemplating such an undertaking. Congratulations!
Jim
Thank you, Jim!
Yup, the car's been here before - about 50 pages ago - but I opened the door of the shop this week and the light was so "right" that I had to shoot this. The angle of the sun here makes Polo Red look quite different. It also seems to mask all of the wear and tear on the 38 year old paint. This outa' be the opening image for the Ebay sale....after I kick the bucket. ;)
Jim
Sam,
That is some rig. I am not a red person per se, but polo red on an early car is almost as nice as irish green.
I am not a Sam person per se, but Polo Red SWB cars are often mistaken for that of (SWBSam) :DQuote:

Sorry for my confusion. The fact that your car could look so similar to SWB Sam's should be taken as a very high complement. His is about as nice as they come (for a restored car anyway).
I looked at the pic of your car again and it looks like there are no front seats in it. Or is that my imagination?
The driver's seat is too low to be seen, but if you look closely the tootsie-roll passenger (ordered with just one) headrest can be spotted. Here's a shot of the interior taken just a couple of hours ago with soon to be, Jack-O-Lanterns. Seventy something and sunny October days in The Frozen Tundra were made for early 911s....just don't get carried away on that first right-hander after the Feed Mill  pumpkin torte!

Jim. You cannot be from the frozen tundra. I know because I was just up there last week! There were no super hot swb cars up there. Your is very super nice.
You are secretly storing that sweetie somewere warm and throwing us off as to your (cars) actual whereabouts.
What is up with the s trim bumpers and the non s trim side deco?
Shawn.
Jim,
Thanks for the interior shot. Those early recaro sport seats are nice.
That garage setup is nice too.
