Last time I was in OZ I was working at a sight in Uralla near Armidale NSW. Damn near stepped on a red belly black snake. Later that evening I did some internet research on it and nearly tossed cookies! :eek: What is it with you guys and having nearly all the most poisonous everything alive down there? :D

Attached is a picture of the awful mirror on my car - it was pointed put to me it has Italian writing on it - doubt it is factory - but I think I am stuck with it, as I would have to repaint the entire door if I removed it and put on the right mirror and not ready to do that yet.:(

Thanks for reply. My RS has the larger chrome square mirror which I thought was incorrect until someone told me the smaller square mirror and round durant types were not legal in Italy at the time. There is no hazard switch which I also thought was wrong but I know of at least two other 73 (non RS) Italian cars with hazard switch delete. I always thought my horns were aftermarket but now I wonder if the original type did not conform to Italian law. My car is so original in all other respects I think these items(and possibly others I havn't discovered yet) might be 'correct'. Anyone know anything?

Just acquired a "new to me" car. Probably the best car I've ever owned....72S, 72,000 original miles, full leather interior with sport seats, sunroof, horn grill lights, rear "push" bar, one bare metal $$$ respray, all records since new, limited slip, etc. also included was the original window sticker ($10,085). Currently doesn't have the horn grill lights or rear push bar mounted, but that will happen shortly. Thanks to Tom and Howard!!!
