Eric, that car is stunning, CONGRATULATIONS.
Please post more pictures, lots of them, when you can.
Great car !!!!
What does the Lic. plate signify?
Jeez Louis...that's nice Eric!!!
Wow, is that a nice looking car! I have the correct shifter from my '72 if you want it. It will need a little TLC to bring it up to snuff, but I will give it to you for the cost of shipping as long as you use it for your car and don't sell it or trade it away.
Sharp eyes....one of the previous owners is Chris Powell, a fantastic mechanic up here in Seattle, and I've used him several times. He made the change (I've got the original one in a box of stuff with the car), but I haven't asked him why he made the change.Quote:

Asking price for the car was $35,000, which is what I gladly paid. I know this was "under market" condering what I know about the market, and from comments from other friends who are also very knowledgable about the market. The seller received 24 calls the first day the car was listed. I consider myself very lucky to be the one who got it, and I won't sell it, even though I know I could get much more for it....this kind of car rarely becomes available.
The only reason to change it out, IMO, is to put the OEM short shift kit in, which is what I did to mine (and also the Seine Systems gate shift kit).
Really surprised that the seller did not know the market for the car.
