Cripes, Erik, where the hell do you find these cars?
I am as well..the seller is an Early S Registry member, but I don't know how often he frequents here. He said that he considers the car an excellent driver, and was influenced by Bruce Andersons values (thanks Bruce!).Quote:

They were correct. You should stop by sometime.

That's what I get for not checking the PCA classifieds every day! ;) Not that I would have been able to buy another car without expecting divorce papers to be filed. Tammy must have the patience of Mother Teresa. :D Perhaps one day Laura will, too.
I will most certainly have to stop by. You around this weekend?
With all of the 67 911's in your garage already, I always assumed you were a diehard SWB guy. Who'd a thunk it?
By the way, what ever happened to the german guy who was going to renege on the Cibie rally lights you won on EBay Germany? If I recall correctly, they were already painted the same color as the 72S....
P.S. Welcome to the wonderfull world of early 911 sunroofs!!!
BTW, Maybe you need to sell one of those SWB soft window targa Esses to make room... :D
Congrats again on a great purchase. That color is one of my faves; if the Targa S has been a hardtop, I'd have been the buyer. :)
Kenik,
I'm sort of around on Saturday, I have family commitments for half the day Saturday. Sunday is a cub scout hike with Nik. I'm in town all next week. Currently working from home today... Randy is stopping by to look at the car at 2:00.
SWB's rule!...of course who wouldn't have bought this car though? This is actually my second S/R, I have a 73S S/R "driver" as well.
Mike, as you might know my Italian spec '73 2.4S has 'hazard' delete. Are you going to fit Italian spec front indicator lenses like the ones fitted to my carQuote:

Mike,
Here is a pic of the Italian equipment horns. Seems they were red once. :)
I am going to try to clean them off this weekend. They are located in front of the drivers side front wheel. Not inside the front trunk where I expected to find them.
I do have a hazard switch inside for hazard flasher lights.
Ron
Thanks for horn pic. I think yours are correct and as I suspected mine may not be. Still think your mirror may not be correct but not sure.
James
Your car was one of the ones I was quoting when I said I knew of 2 Italian cars without hazards. Would love to fit Italian lenses but you beat me to Andy's pair!! Still think your car looks stunning and now I know it goes like a train (or is that a tank!!). Hope to see you and the guys soon.
Regards
Mike

Glad you ended up with it (and not someone interested in an instant 20% or more profit). Enjoy! :)
