First RHD 911 sold in Australia

When I posted a pic of this car in the 'cool license plate' thread, I was asked for more images to be posted.

I just recvd some from a friend who also took a lot of photos of the car during our TYP901 nationals weekend earlier this month.

The great thing about this car is its originality, it spaint, its faded , worn carpet, tarnised badges on teh dash from many events its attended and competed in, etc.

The owner is also not scared to drive it hard and I was amazed at how this little 2.0L car went when we found some fast open roads.

So enjoy the pics. will see if we can get more of the interior (sorry about the quality of the one posted).

Def a beuty :) its nice to know such cars are stil around and that its owners drive them and hard the way they were ment too. Thanks for the pics.

Sorry, should have mentioned its 1963 model. One of the few early ones left.

I believe its one of the very first original RHD ones as well.

Congradulations on your 72S. What a great buy! and story behind it! Absolutely beautiful! BTW, have the sport seats been recovered? It kinda looks as if it had been recovered

Yes, recovered, but not quite correctly, but they are nice though.

Craig, I have a 71E targa same color 43K miles, but it has been repainted (damn...), yours looks great!!!
