In the for sale section of this board another deLuxe popped up. It has VIN 304817 which fits right between 304748 and 304863.

Richard
So, now we think we know "Option Code 11" maybe be described in 13/16 R.S. and, in fact that Option #11 for a late 66 is the same as R.S. 13/66!
This chassis is 304817, as Richard points out above. Does anyone have the list and description of Code 11 for a, late, 1966 model?
Thanks.

I am suspicious of the list of option codes. One through 12 makes me think it is simply a list of options, not a list of option codes.
David
David is correct, I received this list of options from Porsche in an email as a courtesy while I am waiting for the COA to be sent out to me.
This is the list of options of the car I am offering for sale, not a list of option codes.
The owner told me he had a COA when I purchased the car but couldn't find it in the end so I applied for a new one. Very kind people who handle the applications for the COA!!
Thanks!
Henk.

Henk,
So, as far as you know, your Porsche is NOT a deLuxe (whatever a deLuxe is)?
In any case, still, we see an option code on the list for deLuxe..now we need to know what it means. Thanks.

PS Nice car!!!
Allen, I am sure my car is a "DeLuxe" (whatever it means indeed) since it is listed as an option for this car, just like the Talbot mirror etc.
Reading back on this thread I read one of your own comments/reply:
"Thanks for the above info! So, the deLuxe wasn't a new name and apparently came up again. We still have several folks looking Sales Bulletin #13. Meanwhile a VERY knowledgable ex US dealer told me that these cars may have been updated to 1967 model designation to help sell old(er), i.e. 1966 cars that were getting hard to sell with the S coming out."
I think you are absolutely right on this.
Thanks, Henk.
Henk,
One feature we thought the '67 deLuxe had (again 66 model year VIN) was the 1967 style 911 emblem on the rear deck lid, your car has the standard '66slanted one :o However, I note your car "long form" is listed as a 1967!!! which, of course, is totally consistent with the other two we know about. (maybe your deck lid was changed? )

Porsche Veterans,
It has been almost a year since the last post on the 1967 911 deLuxe.
The update is that there really is no update as of now
We know that, so far, we have cars with Kardex on three chassis numbers that say
"Modell 1967 911 deLuxe R.S. Ex. 13/66." These are: 304748, 304817 and 304863.
Some have surmised that "R.S. Ex 13/66" stands for Rundschreiben #13 for 1966 or roughly translated "sales bulletin (circular) #13 for 1966. The idea being that this sales bulletin described a late MY 1966 (June 1966 production) car with some 1967 MY features.
Perhaps there are new members who have joined the list who can add here, or a new Kardex with deLuxe on it is know. Maybe someone with access to Kardex  can search around these production dates and find some more deLuxes for us. Or, the Holy Grail: we find R.S. 13/66! Thanks.
