Here are some pics of a 911S I almost bought - twice - in Zurich. It was delivered with a Sports pack to an Italian rallye driver. Marinello sold it to the States the night before I wanted to buy it...

Ultimate t/r
Beautiful weather today in Geneva, and an even more beautiful T/R, just prepared for the Tour Auto.
Thank you Mike for the ride: One of the best 911 I've driven, a true race car, firm, efficient, and clearly very fast:

What size wheels are on the T/R? Are those 9x15 minilites?
-
OMG! Those two cars together is beyond spectacular.
Thanks for posting Thomas.

Karl, after our conversation yesterday about 9" Minilites I found this picture of the Hart Ski T/R when it was in the States. What a coincidence that Milou drove the same car in Switzerland today! Given the flares I assume that these are 9", maybe Thomas can confirm?

I have posted these photos of Mike's T/R (11820639) as it looked in '07 on another thread, but since this is the "ultimate thread" I'll put them on here for reference.

8 in. vs. 9 in.
Mike will correct me if I'm wrong, but I understood his tires were 8 inches wide at the back and mine are 9 in.
His car is also slightly lower in front and the steering wheel felt very sharp (because of this?).
The direction on mine is much softer and doesn't feel as strongly glued to the road.
